This cottage is nestled in the pines and overlooking the water and surrounding marshes. Wildlife abounds as it is surrounded by nature conservancy land. Situated on the western shore of a peninsula it has beautiful sunset views over the water.
Built in 2001 with wood floors and beamed ceilings this cottage has a warm and cozy feeling and is often used for honeymoons. The bedroom with its queen size bed is large and well ventilated. It is fully winterized and has an oil furnace in case of chilly spring and fall evenings.
There are hiking trails at water's edge and a remote stone bench high on a cliff for a brief rest and spectacular view. Bird watcher's delight in the variety of birds and natural habitat. Water birds of every kind are routinely sited. Seals are often spotted meandering the waterways. It is a great location for kayaking or canoeing.
