We spent a wonderful week in Lorene and Glenn's condo. We never thought we'd find such a nice place for such a great price! We so much prefer the Kihei area to the areas filled with hugely overbuilt resorts and hotels, which we find very impersonal and lacking in warmth. The condo itself has everything you could wish for, including beach equipment, a complete kitchen with full-sized fridge, and lots of storage space. We certainly would have been comfortable there for a longer period of time. We would recommend this condo without hesitation, and hope to visit it again soon. We,(as a retired married couple) had a great time from early January of 2012 to the early March of 2012 staying in this unit. Excellent location in the complex, a few steps to the pool and the grills. Comfortable bed to sleep in and clean throughout. The condo's wood floors made for easy cleanup. Kitchen area was updated and good storage space. Would recommend to anyone for a short or long term stay. Great owners to deal with. Extra's in room ie. matts, coolers and books about Maui made the stay even more enjoyable.

This condo is exactly as described and exactly as shown in the pictures. This is a great deal for under $100/night! We loved staying on this part of the island, and finding a condo that was right across from the beach was perfect. The condo is very clean, has everything you would want to make your own meals (which we did), and access to an awesome hottub and pool. The hot tub at this condo was much, much hotter than a few that we tried at some of the expensive resorts! Beach across the street was great for watching sunsets and the Indian Restaraunt in the hotel across the street was fantastic. Thank you Lorene!

We enjoyed a two week stay at condo for our 25th wedding anniversary at the end of November and beginning of December. The condo is very nice, clean and quiet, looks just like the pictures on the site. It has a great location, close to Kiehi shopping and located so that you have easy access to all the points of interest. Several times we walked up to the main part of Kiehi instead of driving , people also told us the bus stops right at the condo and is a great way to get around. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morning and usually bbq’d every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. The Condo comes equipped with all the “beach” items you would need, towels, boogie board, chairs, sand mats and coolers. It was very nice to have them there and not have to bring them or buy them. There is a beach across the street that we mostly watched the sunset from. Every day we tried a new beach so that we could see them all, but it is a good beach if you just want to sit and read. The water is really shallow there but if you walk around the corner on either side there is a regular beach. We enjoyed walks on the long stretch of beach and even some fishing. The pool/hot tub was very clean and quiet. A couple of days the wind was bad so we sat by the pool and where protected from the wind. The pool was a great place to meet people who stay at the condo long term, they are a great resource for where to eat and what to visit. It was hard to leave, it had truly felt like home during our stay. We would highly recommend this condo and will stay again if ever in Maui.

We had an amazing 12 nights in Maui! There is so much to do, and the complex is close to bus stops that are easy to use, and they get you everywhere you want to go! It was really clean and we loved the hot tub/pool area. as well as the BBQ's ! Thanks so much :) We will consider this place for the next trip to Maui!

I just spent a couple of days there with my husband for vacation. The condo is very nice, clean and quite. We got everything we need here. After eating out for a few days, home made food make us feel much better. Right across the street is a beautifuly beach park. We walked there during evenings and enjoy the time very much!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful condo! We had a wonderful time in Maui and your condo is fantastic. It is clean and cute, it is literally right across the street from the ocean, its in a great location. Kihei is a great part of the island to stay and there are many restaurants, shops and grocery stores near by. The condo is near the north end of Kihei and it makes it easy access for driving to other parts of the Island. Having AC in the condo was a life saver some days. I think it is really nice that they have all that beach gear for you guests. It is the extra touch that makes it special. I appreciated the prompt and friendly communication. The owners were so nice and welcoming. I have already mentioned to some friends how wonderful they were and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone else interested in vacationing in Maui. It has been a pleasure renting from you and I hope we can again!

My wife and I are both windsurfers and have stayed in Maui many times - never before at Kihei Bay Surf. We chose it this time because we were looking for a studio condo and because it is so well situated for windsurfing/kiting on either side of the island. Our stay was relatively short this time - 3 weeks - but the condo was perfectly suited to our needs. It was exactly as described and pictured - clean and very nicely appointed. We completely enjoyed our stay. It was nice to come back from windsurfing every day to our comfortable condo and to the complex's jacuzzi and pool. The only thing I wish is that we could have stayed longer this time. The only thing I hope is that the next time we go to Maui that it will be for a longer period of time and that this Unit will be available for our next stay!

This is an amazing unit! The best studio I have ever stayed in. You will have everything you need here... The floors are stunning, the decor is perfect and even the bathroom is amazing! Clean, clean, clean! Kitchen supplies, iron, beach necessities, hair dryer and even nail polish remover. I was beyond impressed with this unit. The owners surpassed my expectations as well. They are very accomodating and kind. They genuinely want their guests to have an amazing vacation. This alone is enough to stay here! Kihei Bay Surf is very safe, family friendly and in a good area. The pool/hottub area is excellent. It never seems to get too busy. I will definitely go back and recommend this unit. Excellent stay on Maui!!!

Wow, what a nice place and so convenient to get to. Great restaurant and shopping nearby. The Craft Fair to the south had some really good bargins. We felt so relaxed and comfortable at this VERY CLEAN condo. Great value for the money. We will surely tell others about this place. The tennis, hot tub, pool and beach were put to great use. The beach chairs, etc were nice to have. Even on a very cloudy day, we enjoyed the beach and got a tan. We were sorry to have to move on, but there is so much Hawaii to see and so little time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything we needed was there including nail polish remover! We spent time in the jacuzzi, used the bbq, boogie board and cooler. My one and only complaint was I thought the bed was a little hard. Other than that I could definitely see us coming back. Kihei was such a central place to stay seeing as drove both the West and East Maui loops. This was an awesome vacation seeing as we haven't been out of Alaska for 3 years.

This is a great little condo, perfect for a couple or small family. It has everything you need to enjoy Maui. The description and photos are 100% accurate and this has to be about the most affordable place to stay on the island. Hopefully we will be back next year!

This unit was great for our family of three (two adults + a 10 year-old). The unit was clean and quiet. The quiet premises offered good sleep. The indoor, japanese blinds was a plus, providing some separation during sleeping hours. A huge plus are the beach amenities. We enjoyed beach chairs, boogy boards, beach towels, and coolers to pack food. A great, compact kitchen offers the option of cooking meals. Of the four nights we stayed there (we were in Kaanapali for 6 nights on the front end of our trip), we ate in one time and barbequed at the pool area another night. There are two supermarkets about 5 minutes away by car, so you can stock up and cut down eating costs. Plenty of parking (no cost) for those who rent cars. If you don't have a car, the Maui Bus makes a stop nearby and can shuttle you down the road to commercial areas and great beaches. There is close beach access, although we found the beaches (7-10 minute drive to the south), more appealing for boogy boarding. Across from those beaches are plenty of stores for shopping and eating. The people at the complex are very friendly and welcoming, and the owners are very nice and professional during the booking process. We definitely enjoyed the Kihei area (first time as a family) and would pursue this unit again. A GREAT VALUE...

My husband and I spent 4 days on Maui and 6 in Kauai - I wish we would have stayed in Maui the whole time! We felt alot more at home at the Kihei Bay Surf, we liked the location, the room was just great! We were happy to have such a clean, homey condo to come home to at night. We didn't spend must time there but when we were it was all good. We made use of the kitchen and the cooler and beach chairs - THANKS! If we can ever afford to come back we definitely would and will recommend this condo to anyone! Thank you!

What a wonderful experience we had at this studio condo. We were searching for a place very last minute just after Christmas for a place to stay in Maui. It was looking pretty grim and we were even considering going to Kauai instead! After emailing sooo many places, the Davises got back to us promptly, letting us know that their studio condo was available for our dates. They even called us on Christmas Eve, taking time out of their family time to get in touch. They were SOO nice and sweet and accomodating and made it so easy. They're very organized. When we got to the complex, it was perfect...across the street from the beach, and plenty of parking, even for a high season. The place was adorable...the perfect size, and so well kept up. It was furnished tastefully with a Hawaiian flavor which reminded you of where you were even if you were inside. I loved the addition of the movable screens in front of the bed which gave it a feeling of separation from the main living area. The bathroom was well put together and they really stocked it up so that you wouldn't need anything...shampoo, conditioner, soap, even razors! They also had a closet neatly supplied with extra towels and boogie boards...beach stuff. Honestly, the whole time we stayed at this condo, we pretty much slept - so exhausted from the past couple of months of work. Aside from a picnic at the beach, we did absolutely NOTHING except sleep and go out to eat. Unfortunately we didn't see the pool or jacuzzi either (although we did see tenants happily coming back from the pool) and I didn't see Maui...I just saw this condo and thank goodness it was so cozy. The kitchen was well stocked as well. It's the perfect little place. The only thing I can say on the con side is that the walls are a bit thin, but really I didn't notice it most of the time because the neighbors are SO quiet. That's pretty much a problem I find in any place though, where you're sharing walls with another tenant. The patio area is a wonderful addition as well. It feels pretty private. You can see onto other people's patio area, but we literally never saw anyone out on their patio...that's saying something considering we didn't leave the condo. If we ever decide to stay in Kihei again, we'll be staying here. The price is very reasonable, and it's so close to our favorite sushi restaurant in Maui - Sansei, and there's a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant close by and other restaurants that really impressed us

My husband, two boys and I spent the week in this condo and loved it. It was just the right size for the four of us. It was very clean and quiet. The boys loved the pool and hot tub and I loved the laundry facility! There was a cute little beach accross the street perfect for just swimming around out of the waves. It was close to all the little outdoor markets and other beaches. We would definetly stay there again and would recommend it to other couples or families with small children! Mahalo!

What a wonderful place!! So clean and comfortable. I have come to Maui for 14 years and Kihei Bay Surf is one of my favorite places to stay. This unit was like being at home. We did not want to leave. We made friends with the neighbors, even went to a pool side party with the residents. The owners are just wonderful and kind!! Thank you so much for getting me to my home away from home within my budget!!!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Stayed here for 1 week to celebrate my 60th birthday and had a great time. Met alot of nice people at the pool and the BBQ. Beach across the street was awesome to watch sunsets. Very shallow with no waves which is nice. Condo was very comfortable and quiet. Can't beat the price and Glenn & Lorene were a pleasure to deal with. Mahalo for sharing your piece of paradise.

We really enjoyed your condo. We never even went to any of the big beaches, we liked the one across the road. The walk to the stores and food were easily within walking distance. We took the bus to some of the further places. The farthest we wandered was to Lahaina one evening to walk through the shops and had some good pizza there. I now have your email and would most definetely stay there again and I will tell my friends about it too. Thank you again for doing the foot work before we got there. Patti

This lovely condo is clean in a quiet part of the complex but near the parking lot and pool/bbq area. It comes with loads of towels, snorkel equipment, and beach chairs. The bed is new and comfortable and the living room sofa/bed is just as comfortable. The lanai is protected by tall palm trees. The beach is right across the street. A friend and I stayed for about 2 weeks and we loved it.
