I have always loved the Northeast Florida coast area.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I love the canopy of large oaks and Spanish moss. The plantation reminds me of a wildlife sanctuary. The marshes are beautiful. I walk everywhere I can inside the plantation which has an excellent security force. Golf, tennis, swimming are daily activities. The beach is just a 3 minute walk from my front door so I go back and forth.
There are many restaurants and shops in Historic Fernandina located just minutes away. Go to the marina and buy fresh seafood that has just come in off the boat. I love the shrimp-always do a shrimp boil at the beach.

We certainly enjoyed your condo. The lake behind on the golf course yielded a big bass for Mark, our son. Another good place to fish is Walker's Landing in the western tip of Amelia Plantation (salt water types such as sea trout, red fish, drums, etc) We enjoyed walking, biking, and viewing the natural beauty as well.

What a wonderful place to escape the frigid north woods of Michigan at this time of year! Your condo has everything we could possibly need and sunshine too. We have toured the plantation, visited the Okefenokee Swamp, taken a cruise to Cumberland Island to visit the wild horses, and toured the Kingsley Plantation to the south. This is a wonderful location for which to explore.

We have owned this condo for 14 years and we treat it as our second home, instead of rental property. Everyone who stays there loves it and thinks the location is the best. Our children were 8 and 10 when we bought it. We thought Amelia Island Plantation was the best family resort we had ever visited. I would appreciated any comments.
