We maintain three large condos just steps away from the clubhouse, plus one small condo. Patios are sunny with nice patio furniture. This provides constant entertainment watching the #1 tee and the #9 putting green. The condos are nicely furnished and totally equipped; just bring your food and drink. Patios encourage barbeques with table and chairs (all have Propane barbeque grills), and the proximity to the bar and grill is ideal. NEW FLATSCREEN TVS AND WIRELESS IN ALL CONDOS with extended movie channels On Demand.
We rent by the month, the week or 3 days. (please ask about 2 days) Two of our units are pet friendly, so do ask about that. If it is not a busy time, we also will rent for two days. Large condos can sleep four men in separate beds. All condos have WIRELESS BY CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS.
The Bar and Grill is just steps away. We will arrange tee times for you at Blacklake & Avila. Onsite is $45 (inc cart) 7 days a week; Monarch Dunes, Marshallia and Cypress Ridge can be arranged at discounts.
If you are planning a wedding, this is an ideal place; the location is so convenient to many sites in Arroyo Grande, Nipomo, and Santa Maria....SLO is 23 miles north. and the fact that you can arrange a little golf tournament for the group is an option.....all at discounts.
You will enjoy much of the scenery of this area from Hearst Castle all the way down to Solvang,
which is an hour in either direction, with plenty of wine tasting opportunities in between.

- Walking is a favorite pastime at Blacklake, if you want to hike there are many trails nearby; i.,e, Oso Flaco, Montana de Oro are just a few. Dune Buggies are available at Oceano and provide much fun for the grandkids. Chumash Casino is in Solvang. Wine tasting is a big item, and brochures available on where. San Luis Obispo is a university town and Farmers Market is big on Thursday evenings....all the streets are closed for walking. Good restaurants abound, both close by and in the area. Hearst Castle provides good tours, and Cambria and Morro Bay are nearby favorites.

Year Purchased: 2000
Our family owns four condos at Blacklake. My parents have owned a two story unit
since 1984. This was our second home and we all enjoyed playing golf at Blacklake
frequently. My sister, Marna, graduated from Cal Poly in 1980. She has just
recently returned to live at Trilogy (Monarch Dunes). She and her husband, Kimball,
are always available to answer any problems that might arrive. My mother, Irene,
takes all the phone calls and emails from our websites in making reservations. We
try to keep the condos in first rate condition and adhere to any requests the guests
may have.
We offer our guests tee time privileges at all the surrounding golf courses
(complete with discounts) for staying onsite at Blacklake. We will be happy to make
tee times for your convenience.
We know you will love the Central Coast as much as we do; there is so much to do
here. The wineries are making big inroads into the California wine trade, winning
many Gold Medals each year. There are excellent restaurants in the area too and many wineries to experience.
Please come and try our condo, our golf course, and explore. We think you will
like it as much as we do.

We are a golfing family; Blacklake was built in 1965, and is a mature 27 holes now. The
entire area has become a golfing destination with many fine courses in the area....from Hunter
Ranch in Paso Robles down to Sandpiper in Santa Barbara. We offer discounts at Blacklake/Avila

The Unique Benefits of this Condo
There are four courses that make this a golfing destination. Blacklake/Avila are sister
courses; Cypress Ridge is wonderful (one mile away); Monarch Dunes is the new course (links)
and is one mile away; Marshallia Ranch is the old Vandenberg AFB and is 23 miles away....this
was opened to the public 2 years ago and is the best kept secret still today. Hunter Ranch is

My two brothers and I enjoyed our golf weekend in a home away from home. If you are going to BlackLake and need a place to stay, this is the place.

Hi, this was the perfect place for a week before the wedding....husband played golf every day...I attended to details...the wedding happened in Nipomo at the Dana Powers House...this was a perfect location. We even had a little tournament with guests the day before the wedding at Blacklake Golf Course and then a barbeque in dining room afterwards....it was the perfect setting....thank you so much for your help.

Thanks....we had a wonderful time. The condo was lovely. The kids enjoyed watching the golfers. One of the highlights of their week was when a golf ball hit the condo next door and dribbled back into the bushes...they kept hoping it would happen again. Everything we needed was provided...just great Dad kept golfing and I took the kids to the beach. Next time we will come without the kids and do some wine tasting.....

What a great place.....so close to clubhouse and pro shop....we had all the convenience of home but we could also go up and hit balls at the driving range. Pro shop was great...we got great prices by staying onsite.
