We just spent 3 nights at this property and it was amazing. The owner was awesome and accomodating. We had 6 adults in our party. The accomodations were better than they appeared on the website, the bathroom was spotless, the pool and spa were incredible and the house was stocked beyond our expectations. Thank you April and Erica!

Thank you for the wonderful stay! We would never have made it through the 106 degree temps without great AC and a cooling pool. This was just the place for us to hold up while dropping our son at UT. We cannot wait to visit again.

This is an awesome vacation rental. We had a wonderful time. We relaxed by the pool on sunny days and explored the city on fooot on overcast days. The location was superb. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends who travel here. Thank you again! It wass so great, we spent an extra night! PS. You have to check out Toni Price at the Continental Club. She was great! (Tuesday Night Hippie Hour!)

We vere very happy staying at this property. It was our 1st VRBO rental, and I talked to quite a few owners before deciding to go with April. The picture on VRBO mislead me a bit, because I didn't realize the little blue house in the background of the picture was where we would be staying. I had a lot of trepidation opening the door of the garage apartment that would be my home away from home for a whole week, but I was immediately relieved. It was on the small size, but very, very clean and well maintained. The T.V was great and the pool was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. I'm used to our timeshare exchanges, so the personal touches like scotch tape, scissors and coolers were a welcome surprise. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us. I would not want to have more than that, because there is only on bathroom. At first, we thought the neighborhood was a little depressing and full of college rentals, but we soon realized that if we just went a block or two in any direction, we were in a very good and convenient location to take advantage of Austin. We arrived the evening of UT's graduation and learned that UT is the 2nd largest public university in the country. But there were no crowd problems, and it was perfect because most of the thousands of students had already left town. I don't know what it would be like to stay at this property when school is in session, but I recommend it during the summer months, or if you have a student at UT. We loved all the outdoor activities in Austin, and since we were able to have our dog with us in the apartment, we did lots of dog friendly hikes and swims. Austin is a very dog friendly city. We had a great time, and April couldn't have been more acommodating. She even rushed over with bug spray one night when we were sitting outside by the pool and got bitten by a few mosquitos. There were tons of flys by the pool, however; so eating outside was not very successful. I can't explain the fly situation. April also answered every question we had about the sights and restaurants, and if she didn't have the answer, she would find someone who did and get right back to us. Couldn't have been happier.

We, a family of four, stayed at your Lone Star House one week. It fit all of our needs perfectly! Being as well stocked, it was like being at home. Even down to scissors and a cooler, which we used a lot! The location was great and having the pool and jacuzzi reallly made our trip more fun. We reqallly enjoyed taking a little trip to Oasis on Lake Travis for dinner! The Red Book was also great! Thank you!

Loved our stay! The house was clean and well stocked and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Any visitor to Austin should see the bats take flight under the South Congress Street Bridge, swim in Barton Springs, and enjoy the great food and music. We had great meals at Rudy's BarBQ, South Congress Cafe, and Uchi. Hope to be back soon!

Another great ACL - although very wet and muddy. Our son and his friends had a great time there. My husband and I enjoyed the Esther's Follies show and just hanging around Austin. Hope to be back next year.

We stayed in this house for 3 nights for the Texas Tech football game, and we couldn't have been more happy with it. The place is very updated , clean, and everything worked. The beds were super comfortable and towels and linens all good quality. April, the owner was so accommodating and helpful. We walked down to the drag, to get coffee in the morning and even walked to DKR stadium for the football game. When I come back to Austin again, this will be the first place I check for my stay.

Great little house in the heart of the University of Texas campus and close to all Austin amenities. Description was bang on, property was spotless and well maintained, customer service was impeccable, and I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Our recent stay here was excellent. We were within walking distance of several eateries and bus lines. The house was darling, clean and the neighborhood quiet which was a surprise so close to campus. Would definitely return- the kids loved the hot tub!

Five of us (mom, dad, two teens, and grandma) stayed in this house, along with our two dogs, for two nights. We were very pleased with the experience - the house is small but has a very efficient layout. It is updated and clean, and was very comfortable. We appreciated being able to bring the dogs. The location is great - walking distance to UT campus. The owner was helpful and easy to work with. The adjacent house, handled by the same owner, was unoccupied so we had the pool area and yards to ourselves. We look forward to staying here again when we can.
