Three apartments for rent in the most exclusive area of Venice, Dorsoduro. The apartments are in the same building located on the canal of the Sguero (the only place in Venice where they still make "gondole" in the traditional way) between the Academy (Gran Canal) and Zattere (canale della Giudecca).
Even if it is right in the heart of the city (only 5 minutes away from Accademia, 15 minutes away from Rialto and Piazza S. Marco), it is not well known by the tourists and you can still live the authentic Venician atmosphere.
All the apartments face a beautiful canal (Rio Ognissanti) and a bridge wellknown for artists which, if you are lucky, you will be able to watch them at work.
You can easily reach the boat (vaporetto) stop "Zattere" in 2/3 minutes walking distance or the boat stop "Accademia" in 5 minutes walking distance.
The vaporetti go to the train station, to the lido (sea), S. Marco, Rialto, etc.
In 2/3 minutes walking distance you can reach the boat stop of ALILAGUNA Lines, at Zattere, or take a private taxi-boat, connecting you with Marco Polo Airport.
Near the house (five minutes walking) there is the best supermarket in Venice, the "Billa", where you can find all the food (tipical venetian, italian or international) you need.
Each apartment has a bathroom and a complete kitchen.
The 3 apartments are divided as follows:
First apartment, is a studio-apartment for 2 people, one room with kitchen and bathroom;
Second apartment, sleeps 4/6, 120 square meters, one big living kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms & a big living room with a pull-out couch;
Third apartment, sleeps 4/5, 100 square meters, one kitchen, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, & a big living room with a pull-out couch.
All the apartments are fully equipped (linen, dishes, etc. ...) and air conditioned (in the bedrooms).
Moreover, escort service from vaporetto to the apartment for check-in and check-out and final cleaning services is € 100 for studio apartment and € 200 for the others apartments. Daily cleaning service available on request each day previous payment.
It is possible to rent all the apartments together, for a total number of 13 persons.

We stayed in the 3rd floor flat - well above the hustle and bustle of the canal and with a wonderful view over the rooftops of Venice. The apartment was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The well stocked kitchen allowed us to take advantage of the Rialto market. The location was ideal - close to all Venice has to offer, but away from the tourist centers.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers.

We stayed 3 nights in Venice, and loved the location of this apartment! It was very close (10-15 minutes from St. Marks, walking distance) to everything, and was easily accessible from the train station via vaporetti (water taxi). There were also great restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Apartment came with all amenities that we needed.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bath flat in September 2008 and were totally pleased. We LOVED the location!! It was so quiet and picturesque and we didn't get overrun with tourist groups once we stepped out the front door. It was actually pleasant looking out the window at the canal and artists and few pedestrians. Yet it was only a 5 minute walk to the Accademia or Zattere boat stops. Billa grocery and Campo San Barnaba very nearby. Loved exploring different neighborhood restaurants--Quattro Feri, Schiavi Wine Bar,Terraza and Casin Nobili, San Trovaso.
