  My family and I stayed 4 days in the spacious 3rd floor apartment. It is a hike up the stairs but the views are absolutely worth it. The windows in the living room open onto the canal and I took 15 minutes every morning taking in the scene as the city woke up to the church bells ringing. There are gorgeous houses with lovely courtyards across the canal. My 10 year old son said he could see 8 church steeples from the kitchen window. Mr. Stefano, our apartment contact, was gracious, friendly, and so helpful with all sorts of tips about the city and restaurants. On our last day, there was a water bus strike and we had planned to take the water bus to the train station. Mr. Stefano personally helped us time our trip to avoid the strike and he escorted us all the way onto the water bus, carried our bags and get us to the train station. The air conditioners were an absolute godsend at night and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment is away from the crazy hustle and bustle of the San Marco area but you can easily walk everywhere if you are in decent shape and willing to bear some of the summer heat. We are so glad we stayed here and I would come back in an instant. Thank you Mr. Andrea and Mr. Stefano for making our visit so enjoyable!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  We stayed in the 3rd floor flat - well above the hustle and bustle of the canal and with a wonderful view over the rooftops of Venice. The apartment was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The well stocked kitchen allowed us to take advantage of the Rialto market. The location was ideal - close to all Venice has to offer, but away from the tourist centers.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  We stayed 3 nights in Venice, and loved the location of this apartment! It was very close (10-15 minutes from St. Marks, walking distance) to everything, and was easily accessible from the train station via vaporetti (water taxi). There were also great restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Apartment came with all amenities that we needed.

  We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bath flat in September 2008 and were totally pleased. We LOVED the location!! It was so quiet and picturesque and we didn't get overrun with tourist groups once we stepped out the front door. It was actually pleasant looking out the window at the canal and artists and few pedestrians. Yet it was only a 5 minute walk to the Accademia or Zattere boat stops. Billa grocery and Campo San Barnaba very nearby. Loved exploring different neighborhood restaurants--Quattro Feri, Schiavi Wine Bar,Terraza and Casin Nobili, San Trovaso.   We had an amazing stay here. The apartments are very tastefully decorated and the location is superb. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to our friends and family.

Apartment ......... €200/night (from two to four guests).
