Why the Owner Chose Spinnaker Beachhouses
There are few places left where the beaches are as private and unspoiled as Seabrook Island. You
can walk on the beach and see very few people. You will see dolphins playing in the surf and pelicans diving for their dinner. Wildlife abounds on the island from alligators, deer, egrets and
maybe you will see one of the islands bobcats. The Seabrook Island Club has top-notch facilities.
The Beach Club which is set right on the ocean with two pools and restaurant. The Island House across the street houses the pro-shop, restaurant and banquet facilities. The Lake House also has an indoor/outdoor pool, state of the art fitness center and playground for the kids.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
The Spinnaker Villas have one of the best locations on the island. You can walk across the street
to the beach. You can also walk to the Beach Club a short 1/4 mile away. You also have a view of
The Crooked Oaks golf course and lagoon.
Owner's Map of Spinnaker Beachhouses
We having been vacationing on Seabrook Island since the mid-eighties.We finally
became home owners in 1997 and bought our Spinnaker Beachhouse in 2001. Seabrook
Island is just the kind of place that keeps drawing you back year after year.
From the beautiful beaches and golf to the history or Charleston and the fabulous
restaurants. Seabrook Island is your own private island to get away from it all.

Sue has decorated a villa that invites folks to relax in comfort with all the necessities for a great beach week/weekend. The locations is perfect; one can merely cross the road and after a short walk between the dunes be at the beach. Of course the new clubhouse dining and all the Seabrook ammenities make for a vacation Paradise! The villa is as described and was excellently maintained.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Spent a great three months in this very attractive rental. Not a golfer, but found plenty to do - I spent time walking the beach getting both exercise, fresh air, and sea shells. The dolphins put on shows to match the great sun sets. Enjoyed the alligators that sunned themselves on the bank of the lagoon - interesting to watch the golfers as they teed off and kept an eye on the gators. Had deer feeding just outside the condo almost constantly and over a dozen eagles soaring overhead one afternoon. My major draws were the trips into Charleston to just walk the streets and take in the beauty of this city, check out the Market (pick up your Sweetgrass Basket there), drive over Ravnel Bridge to the aircraft carrier Yorktown and Sullivan's Island. Took both a Harbor Tour and a Carriage Tour - I recommend both. Enjoyed the Locklear restaurant on Folly Pier, Ladles in the Village, and Red's Ice House at Bohicket Marina - all multiple visits. Southend Brew Pub and Sticky Fingers in Charleston work well for lunch to round out your tours. If you like bagels check out one of the two Bruegers in Charleston. I found the condo equiped and as comfortable as described - truly turned out to be my home away from home. A quiet setting with easy walking access to the beach. Bring your bike as there were numerous riders especially as the weather warmed. Ride Seabrook Island or ride into Freshfields Village where there are restaurants and grocery or take off toward Kiawah and enjoy the marsh views. There are bike paths from Seabrook to Kiawah which makes the ride most comfortable as you're not sharing the road with autos. Seabrook Island is very bike friendly when using the streets. For the occasional maintenance need the local rental manager's response was quick and efficient - only a phone call away. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great winter location - no snow to shovel (had one day with ice - all bridges into Charleston were closed for about 4 hours - not a common occurrance as I was told by the "natives"). March had a number of days at 80 degrees or above. The advantage with the location of the condo is the sea breeze which keeps the temps lower than Charleston - never needed airconditioning and the furnace kept me very comfortable during the cool days of January and February. The Arentsens were extremely helpful, especially with my request to start the rental two days early. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did mine!!!

The condo is located in a perfect spot; overlooking the 18th tee and a lagoon where two alligators loved to sun themselves by the "Do not feed" sign. Well appointed kitchen (even had roaster for our Thanksgiving turkey) and WiFi access throughout. Easy access to the beach and golf courses, club houses, marina, etc. My dog loved our walks along moss-lined live oak streets. I loved it so much I extended my stay by two days. Sue was an extremely hospitable hostess and communicates with timely emails. Will visit again and stay at this very private home.

What a lovely island and condo. The accomodations were great but the dryer didn't work so we hung out our clothes to dry. Was too late to get it fixed but it worked out. WOW the spiders there are scary. Nobody's fault but we carefully stepped onto the porch!
Owner response:The dryer was repaired the next day. Things like the dryer not working is one of the things that can always happen, just like at home. Thats why a a management company thats located on the island is so important. Our management company is there 24/7 for you. The spiders are on the island only a few months of the year, they are harmless and keep the small insects at bay.

Several friends got together for a great week in Seabrook - this townhouse was the perfect spot to stay. Our dogs loved it too. It was close to the beach and pool but still very secluded. We would definitely stay here again!
