This luxurious beach home is perfectly located in San Clemente, known for having the Best Climate on Earth. It is private, spacious and just 2 blocks from family beaches, the famous pier, firepits and swingsets. Five minutes away is Ave. Del Mar, where you will discover fabulous restaurants, antique shops, surf and swimwear shops and stylish boutiques. Our home is the perfect place for families, extended families or groups of friends to escape.
Filled with an eclectic mix of custom-made, vintage and new furniture, the home has something for everyone. All mattresses are custom-made with feather top mattresses along with lush pillows for your sleeping pleasure. All linens are of exceptional quality and included in your stay; beach towels too.
There are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths in all. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms are located upstairs, with a master suite and a jack-and-jill suite which is great for children. The master bathroom has a Waterworks Empire Soaking Tub and separate shower with rain showerhead. The jack-and-jill bath has a clawfoot soaking tub, 2 separate sink consoles and plenty of space. 1 bedroom suite is downstairs with full bathroom. Also downstairs is a large, open family room, gourmet kitchen, dining room that seats 12, powder room and laundry closet. In addition, the antique kitchen island seats 6. All bathroom fixtures and linens are from Restoration Hardware and Anthropologie.
The house also has two decks with ocean view, one with a marble and iron dining table and another one off the master bedroom with extra plush reading chairs. A beautifully landscaped backyard includes a patio, gas grill, table with benches, lounging area and outdoor shower to rinse off the sand upon return from your arduous day at the beach.
Our home features a gourmet kitchen. All appliances are new, with GE Monogram Stainless Steel Refrigerator, inaudible Bosch Dishwasher, beverage refrigerator and microwave. The exception is my grandparent's 1940's vintage Wedgewood gas stove with 4 burners, griddle in the middle, oven and broiler. Dishes, glassware and table linens are from Anthropologie; culinary appliances from Crate and Barrel. Also, there are built-in recycling containers. Energy efficient, large-load capacity, inaudible Bosch washer and dryer are readily available for your convenience.
Boogie Boards, sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and sunscreen are provided for your beach fun. Flat screen TV, DVD/VHS, iPod Bose speaker and wireless internet are all available for your enjoyment. A movie library and games are also provided for both children and adults.

This had to be the best accomodations I've stayed at ever! My children and their friends were in awe of the place. Very short walk to beach! The home was tastefully decorated with high end amenities. I stayed at this San Clemente Beach house for a week with my parents who came in from Texas and my wife and two children. The house is beautiful and spacious with all of the amenities we were looking for. We were a short walk from the beach, and had everything we needed at the house. We can guarantee you a wonderful vacation in this luxury "condo", really a 3,000 sq. foot home. This colorful and tastefully decorated condo should be featured on the cover of Architectural Digest. We have rented condos in San Clemente at least once a year for the past 6 years and this was by far the best fit for us. The location is wonderful and the property itself is exceptional. The property manager was on site to greet us and had clearly spent his day making sure everything was perfect for our arrival. Between his friendliness and availability for any question or need, and the owners' openness and helpfulness, there was no question unanswered or need unmet. The condo was spotlessly clean and the decor and design of this place is unbelievable. We have never seen such incredible attention to every single detail in a rental unit. It is so comfortable and welcoming - and so well built and sound proof. Every room was just amazing - from the kitchen to the many bathrooms to the beautifully designed bedrooms. We would absolutely recommend this property to friends and plan to come back to this home many times. This place is absolutely ideal for families with school aged kids, who can handle a short walk to the beach. The space is just amazing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Our stay was amazing. We arrived a little early and were met by Steven who is a caretaker of the home. He told us about the amazing restaurants and things to do nearby. The condo was immaculate in every sense of the word all the way down to his and her robes in the master bathroom! The home felt bigger than advertised and the views of the ocean were superb. Stephanie the owner and Steven took great care of us. They were so attentive to all of our needs and they were so genuine and sincere. We will plan another trip to this home and will recommend it to friends and family. Thanks you Stephanie and Steven! Stephanie was great to work with and took care of everything. She was very attentive in organizing the last minute details of our trip and even made recommendations on activities, dining, etc. Would highly recommend and would gladly stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We had 10 folks (six adults, four kids) and we all fit nicely in this beautiful, comfortable house. The beds were comfortable, the master bathroom luxurious. Kitchen utensils all good quality and stood up to our preparation of three meals a day for 10 people. Walk to the beach is not bad at all, the beach chairs and umbrellas were a nice surprise to find in the garage. Thanks for a great stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

"Just a quick note to say how wonderful your home felt to my family. My kids are the same ages as yours. . and we stayed upstairs in the back room and pink room. "The vacation was great, and the house was a large part of that. We had everything we needed at our finger-tips. Walking in the front door was a delightful moment, not at all diminished as we saw the other rooms. As one family member said, 'We just walked into House Beautiful.' I wanted to honor my brother and his wife with the master suite and the room was more than I could have possibly anticipated. Thank you for all the extra and thoughtful touches. About the owner: As a child growing up, my family, along with my grandparents, would rent a small apartment in San Clemente for 2 weeks every summer. We would surf-fish early in the morning with our grandpa, swim, run the beach or up the hills, walk around Del Mar, eat out and have a grand time. In 1988, my parents moved to San Clemente and my husband and I would come to visit, enjoying all the same activities in a down-to-earth atmosphere. Years later, we decided to build a home right next to my father so that we could enjoy San Clemente with our children and their grandparents, just as I did when I was a child.
Why the Owner Chose San Clemente:
This is our dream beach home (no more 7 people sharing 1 bathroom), close to the ocean with a comfortable atmosphere. My father built our homes in 2005 and we were able to customize our home to make it a luxurious and fun place for families to gather.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home was built for our family, not with rental in mind, so you will enjoy the luxuries created for my family, not a place to 'herd people through'. We designed the home to enjoy with family and friends, creating open spaces to congregate and private room retreats when a little privacy is desired. Each room was specially appointed with a purpose-some for children and their friends, others for adults. Gourmet meals can be served on lovely dinnerware, platters etc. or paper plates can rule the day. Whatever is your family's delight. Then step out the door and walk 2 blocks to the beach, pier, or shops and restaurants on Del Mar. Everything is within reach.
