This luxurious beach home is perfectly located in San Clemente, known for having the Best Climate on Earth. It is private, spacious and just 2 blocks from family beaches, the famous pier, firepits and swingsets. Five minutes away is Ave. Del Mar, where you will discover fabulous restaurants, antique shops, surf and swimwear shops and stylish boutiques. Our home is the perfect place for families, extended families or groups of friends to escape.
Filled with an eclectic mix of custom-made, vintage and new furniture, the home has something for everyone. All mattresses are brand new, custom-made, with feather top mattresses, along with lush pillows for your sleeping pleasure. All linens are new, of exceptional quality and included in your stay; beach towels too.
There are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths in all. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms are located upstairs, with a master suite and a jack-and-jill suite which is great for children. The master bathroom has a Waterworks Empire Soaking Tub and separate shower with rain showerhead. The jack-and-jill bath has a clawfoot soaking tub, 2 separate sink consoles and plenty of space. 1 bedroom suite is downstairs with full bathroom. Also downstairs is a large, open family room, gourmet kitchen, dining room that seats 12, powder room and laundry closet. In addition, the antique kitchen island seats 6. All bathroom fixtures and linens are from Restoration Hardware and Anthropologie.
The house also has two decks with ocean view, one with a marble and iron dining table and extra plush reading chairs and another one off the master bedroom. A beautifully landscaped backyard includes a patio, gas grill, table with benches, lounging area and outdoor shower to rinse off the sand upon return from your arduous day at the beach.
Our home features a gourmet kitchen. All appliances are new, with GE Monogram Stainless Steel Refrigerator, inaudible Bosch Dishwasher, beverage refrigerator and microwave. The exception is my grandparent's 1940's vintage Wedgewood gas stove with 4 burners, griddle in the middle, oven and broiler. Dishes, glassware and table linens are from Anthropologie; culinary appliances from Crate and Barrel. Also, there are built-in recycling containers.
Boogie Boards, sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and sunscreen are provided for your beach fun. Flat screen TV, DVD/VHS, iPod Bose speaker and wireless internet are all available for your enjoyment. A movie library and games are also provided for both children and adults. Large-load capacity, energy efficient, inaudible Bosch washer and dryer are readily available for your convenience. |
