Naushop is a charming community of 200 single-family homes with quiet streets, brick sidewalks, white picket fences and classic Nantucket architecture. Although much quieter in the winter, there is a substantial community of homeowners in Naushop who live and work year round on the island. This house is one of only two duplexes that were built in the neighborhood and this listing is for the right half of the building shown with it’s own separate front entrance, off street parking, private front porch and private fenced front and back yards. The front door opens to a good-sized modernly furnished living room with kitchen located towards the rear. The kitchen is equipped with modern GE appliances and offers contemporary lighting. Items included are lobster pot, salad spinner, blender, coffee maker, wine glasses, sharp knife set and all the usual kitchen utensils.

This Mid-Island location has a wonderful appeal to vacationers and the advantage of being a short drive or bike ride to Nantucket town, while being away from the hustle and bustle of in-town activity. Surfside beach is less than a mile away.

Upstairs is a large bedroom and walk-in closet with separate bathroom. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and the owners next door are a retired couple that are present only a few months every summer. The living room and upstairs bedroom both have TVs. The living room also offers a modern music system with CD/DVD player.

This property is comfortably designed for two adults. Clean linens are provided as well as beach towels, beach chairs and cooler. The bike path and bus stop are also within a stones throw away from the property.
