The Optimum Cedar Cabin is located On Patoka Lake In Southern Indiana. At 8,800 acres it is the second largest lake in Indiana and also the cleanest. Wildlife is abundant and can be seen from the deck or by hiking the lake trail. Spring wildflowers and Fall foliage are spectacular and Summer days are long and lazy boating or fishing, relaxing in the hot tub, or roasting marshmallows by the campfire. The in ground pool feels wonderful after playing volleyball or horseshoes in the sports field.
Need more excitement? How about cruising down the lake with a skier in tow, screaming downhill on a snowboard or snowtube, experiencing a train robbery at the train museum, or throwing the dice at the French Lick Casino!
Not feeling that energetic? Movies are available or just light a campfire and listen to the silence. Nights are a thousand stars and owls hooting off in the distance, chasing fireflies, or stretching out in a comfy queen bed.
