This very elegant home is within two blocks of the LaJolla shores beach and Kellog park. This is as very family oriented community. No alcohol is allowed on the beach. The quiet neighborhood belies the fact that you are within walking distance of one of the best beaches in the world.
You are one and 1/2 blocks from Avenieda de La Playa the main street in LaJolla Shores with an abundance of restaurants and shops. This home is my dream home. It is newly furnished by Denise Sprague of Small Changes Design. Brick patios surround the home.
The living room and master bedroom open onto the veranda with large sliding glass doors. There are sky lights in the Master suite. Hardwood floors give warmth in the living areas and soft carpets adorn the bedrooms. The home opens to enjoy the ocean breezes. A baby grand piano adorns the living room. The front patio houses an outdoor dining area and gas grill among the planters. A truly wonderful vacation home.
A Mac computer with internet and a fax machine are available for your use. The living room features a baby grand paino, marble fire place, cable tv and stereo. The Master suite has HDtv, jacuzzi tub, and a separate steam shower to pamper yourself. A Chaise makes a cozy spot to read.

Truly the most elegant vacation home ever! Everything was top of the line yet comfortable and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent here and hated to leave. We only hope it is available when we plan a return tip.
Owner response:Thank you for staying with us. We look forward to you returning. We have new patio furniture in the back veranda. Kellog Park has finished installing the new playground equipment. The beach is truly a family beach with surfing, kayaking, boogie boarding, swiming, diving, and just soaking up the sun with a book. The large grass park is perfect for picnics. The public restrooms and showers are great to get the sand off before you go home. We hope you enjoyed the added convience of a computer and fax machine. The resturants in the area are exceptional and such an easy walk. No wories about that glass of wine. La Jolla shores is truly a jewel of an area. The kitchen is fully stocked with good quality pots and pans, dishes, flatware, glasses, and even spices. Towels are abundant. Beach toys, boogieboards, chairs and a wagon make going to the beach easy. I try to make your vacation a pleasure. Sheryl

We very much enjoyed our 1-week stay in this cozy place which has all the amenities you need, and is situated close to the beach in a quiet street parallel to the boulevard. The house was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, the gas barbecue is great for grilling food. And if you happen to play piano, the grand piano is in tune and plays very smoothly!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had the best family vacation in this house in June of 2009! Sheryl was exceptionally accomadative to make sure we were very relaxed and felt at home. We had vacationed in La Jolla for several years stayed in hotels. This trip it took us no time to get settled in a had all the comforts of home in Ocaso. Thank you soooo much to allow us relax and to take in the great weather and comfort of La Jolla! We were just a couple walking minutes from the beach and had all the items provided to make sure our childeren had a great time. THANK YOU!!
