Two views is even better than the description and photos. It is located on what we thought of as the best part of the island. The beach access is just across the (golf) cart street and the views of both the ocean and the marsh were spectacular. We felt as if we were one of the few in the world to experience such beauty. The house was very clean and well appointed. Leslie answered all of our questions as we planned the trip. We watched sunrises and sunsets, surfed, swam, walked, biked, toured, hiked, kite boarded, relaxed, read books, fished, ate great food and saw turtles hatch under a full moon.....all while enjoying a luxurious home full of laughter and memories. Well worth our journey there!

Two Views is spectacular! My family and I enjoyed our week there, and were so pleased with every thoughtful detail of the home. Favorite spots included the balcony over-looking the marsh every morning, and the balcony over-looking the ocean every evening. We also loved the dining room table, which one son called King Arthur's Table. The kitchen was very well appointed. We do hope to come again! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Best family vacation ever

This was our second time at Two Views. Last Spring, we spent a week with there with some friends. This year, we had our annual family reunion on BHI. We were all ecstatic with the accommodations. The house is beautifully appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals for our large group. We saw dolphin frolicking in the water during our morning walks on the beach and enjoyed bike rides through the enchanted forest. This was our best family vacation ever. Thank you Leslie and Tom for sharing your home with us.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Bald Head. We have rented several times but this time have found the perfect house! Two Views is accurlately named. The view from the marsh side is spectacular and restful and the view of the ocean dramatic. The house is beautifully decorated and the attention to details is amazing. The house is totally well stocked to spices, detergents, kitchen items, games-- everything that the web site says is totally true. It was a clean a house as we had ever rented. We had our 2 young grandchildren with us and loved being so close to the ocean and the Shoals club-- a real plus!. Leslie had purchased a new highchair, pack and play and portacrib which was great and well used. We loved being on East Beach, our son in law was in his glory surfing twice a day and the waves were wonderful for riding. Plus that beach is the best on the island. Perfect for walking during the day and coming back to Two Views to see the beautifull sunset. All of the bedrooms were well decorated and very confortable beds! The Manley's were easy and wonderful to deal with. We have booked the house again for next year. It is t ruly a unique location and wonderful house. Fantastic Family House

We have been going to BHI for years and we finally found the perfect house. The house has so much to offer: beautiful ocean and marsh views, ideal location across from an East Beach access, proximity to the Shoals Club, quality furnishings, superior decorating - everything one could want! The property was even better than described and we hope to return to enjoy all that Two Views has to offer next summer. All of our questions were addressed before we arrived and questions we had while we were there were answered quickly. Leslie and Tom thank you for everything and for sharing your beautiful home.

Two Views is Perfection

Two Views is truly a spectacular home meant for entertaining, appreciation of nature, and complete comfort. Upper decks on each side of the house allowed us to appreciate the sunrise on the ocean, and the sunsets over the marsh. We also enjoyed watching three bucks who fed on the marsh side in the evenings. The kitchen is as well equipped as any home; the large dining table gave us plenty of room for our three generational family to enjoy meals and play games together. We loved the idea of three king beds, and found all mattresses to be so comfortable that they were hard to vacate in the mornings. Also appreciated were the beach towels, bicycles, and numerous beach toys. (Certainly lessens the load when one has to pack for a ferry ride.) We spent most of our time on the beach, but access to the pools at both island clubs was another plus. The men enjoyed golf at Baldhead Country Club, and we all enjoyed a delicious dinner there as well. Cocktails at sunset at the Shoals Club is highly recommended. We were at Two Views over the 4th of July, and loved watching the parade of golf carts...so many creative decorations and so much fun. This home exceeded our expectations in every way.

Two Views is aptly named. The home has an excellant location,is well provisioned,beautifully decorated,has exquisite sunsets as well as gorgeous sunrises (if you 're up early enough on vacation).The owner makes the renting process easy and is so very helpful-couldn't ask for more! I would reccommend this home to all. ..This was the first beach house that our family ever rented that was not directly on the beach but we were not disappointed-the 2 views(marsh and ocean) and the extremely easy beach access (across the street) made up for it.

Two Views was aptly named. This home is beautifully decorated,well provisioned and has gorgeous sun sets as well as exquisite sun rises (if you are up early on vacation). The location is convenient to the beach access (right across the street) and I would highly reccommmend this home.Lesley made the renting process an easy one and was full of helpful info.

Great Family House

This was our third time on BHI and would highly recommend Two Views for your family reunion. The house was in immaculate shape and everything in the house worked. (Not always the case at some beach houses) Kitchen was incredible. Photos in listing are up to date. Owner was very professional and helpful. Kids loved the beach towels provided. Short golf cart ride to the stores. Beach access is a short walk (#42) and had the best waves for boogey boarding and swimming. Great morning walks to Shoals point. But the two views were the special treat - both sunrise and sunset from the upper decks - every day and night. Both the nearby Shoals Club and farther BHI Club were worth the extra fee. Recommend surfing lessons for the kids from RIver Adventures Company - held at access point 42 Hope to be back soon.

Great Home with Outstanding East / West Vistas

Yes, we highly recommend Two Views! The property's photos, listing description and location are all accurate, and the amenities met all expectations. Two Views wonderfully accomodated all three generations during our family vacation. This vacation home is superbly equipped and furnished, offering privacy as well as areas for family gathering. The upper level east / west windows and outside decks are mirror images of each other with beautiful views of the sunrise over the ocean and sunset on the marsh. With beach access across the street and the Shoals Club within walking distance, everyone had easy access to favorite activities. Both day and night time island excursions in the golf carts were great fun. Although during our stay the owner's family was experiencing an unforeseen emergency, Leslie was most gracious and available by phone. Thank you, and may God bless you and your family!

My family enjoyed Two Views for Thanksgiving 2009. The house is beautifully decorated, well appointed, and extremely comfortable and cozy! The views truly are the best on the island. Leslie was a delight to work with. I think our biggest decision of the week was which deck/view to enjoy our morning coffee. The perfect solution: first cup with the ocean view, and second cup enjoying the marsh view! Thank you, Two Views, for an incredible family vacation!

After visiting 12 Bald Head Island houses rented by our families for my daughter's wedding last fall, Two Views had the most spectacular views, the most updated furnishings, and the most relaxing atmosphere of all. The photos don't do it justice since the house is so beautiful. We hope to return soon to relive our experience in Two Views. Thanks Leslie for opening your house to us for the week and enabling us to engage in the most wonderful week of our lives. By Sunday, everyone was asking to stay until Christmas!!!

As much as we would like to keep it a secret, we highly recommend this property! It is in a wonderful location - steps from the beach, near the Shoals Club, and with great views of both the ocean and the marsh. It is impeccably furnished and completely equipped with everything you could hope for. It is also spotless. The beds are so comfortable that everyone woke up talking about them the first morning. We were a large group, and the house was layed out perfectly for us. The three king rooms are equally nice. All five bedrooms have their own bathroom. There are two separate indoor sitting/tv areas, and two separate decks upstairs, not to mention the wrap-around porch on the first floor. The linens are plentiful and lovely. But the best thing about the house is the owner: she is lovely and accomodating and makes you feel more like a guest than a business proposition.

The name “Two Views” doesn't even begin to describe how spectacular the property's location and views are; in addition to the fact that the home itself was exceptional. Beautifully decorated yet comfortable, warm and inviting with every amenity you could ever ask for in a beach rental (I felt like I was at home!). After vacationing for 20 years along the North and South Carolina coast this was by far our best vacation ever. There is no doubt that we will return to this home and Bald Head next year. Renting through VRBO, as well as planning our vacation directly with the owner was easy, pleasant and personal. Many thanks to the Manley family for opening their home up for others to enjoy!

My family and I have been vacationing on Bald Head Island annually since 1988 and are very familiar with the rental options. In my opinion, Two Views is the best rental option on the island. The home is beautifully decorated and renting thru VRBO provided a pleasant personal interaction with the owner The marsh view is the best on the island. The combination of the marsh and ocean views makes the property unique. The home easily accomodates twelve with a great floor plan and all the amenities you would expect in a top quality home. I would strongly recommend this property and intend to return next year.

We stayed in this home for a week in July 2009. We have been coming to BHI for 12 years and this home has the most wonderful views of any that we have rented! My husband and I stayed at 'Two Views' over Memorial Day weekend. It was absolutely fantastic!! We have stayed at many different beaches and beach houses and this one by far was the best. Leslie Manning was very helpful with all of our questions and extremely accomodating. We would definately return!

This is a phenomenal property! We've stayed in numerous high-end properties on BHI, and this is, by far, our favorite. It's beautifully decorated, the views are incredible, and its location is excellent. Top that off with owners who are accessible and determined that your stay will be memorable. Highly recommend!
