Cottage on the Big Lake has a beautiful sandy beach excellent for swimming, walking, volleyball, sun bathing, or just taking in the view. During the leafy seasons the shore has a wild feel because all of the houses are hidden from view by the foliage.
The cottage has a deck with a great view for meals or lounging. (see web site). The interior of the cottage is newly renovated with a new kitchen, bath, and bedrooms. Pentwater is a charming 1890's town with good restaurants and activities seven miles to the north. Ten miles south is Silver Lake with its famous dunes.
We have a guest book in the cottage where people can write about their stays. There have been many testimonials from guests telling us what a relaxing time they had there.

Everything about our stay was fabulous, the cottage was quiet, very clean, had a great open, but cozy feel and the view is spectacular. If your all about the beach and the view you couldn't do much better. The owners were great to deal with and gave us some some very helpful travel info and recommendations. We only wish we had stayed longer.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This is a wonderful place to stay. All the amenties. Very nice. The beach is beautiful. There is a beautiful view from the cottage. Would definitely rent the cottage again.
