Let 2012 be the beginning of a family tradition with yearly gatherings in this pristine Florida Village Cottage. Tranquil surroundings both inside and out promote total relaxation with all the amenities and conveniences of home. No detail has been spared in furnishing this vacation home.
There are four bedrooms with sleeping accomodations for 10 as follows; 1 king, 2 queens and 2 twins as well as a queen size sleeper sofa. Each bedroom has been equipped with a TV as well as a DVD Player. All linens are provided (including beach towels).
Accomodations and provisions for all ages, 1-99, including high chair, toddler bed rails and a first floor bedroom with a full bath. Children will enjoy their personal space in the 3rd floor tower room.
Enjoy one of two pools within this new development, a quaint Seaside style neighborhood of picket fences, or stroll to the spectacular white sand beaches of the Emerald Coast. From the porch to the sand is only .6 of a mile.
This is one of only a few beaches with a Lifeguard on duty for added peace of mind. Beach chairs and umbrella rentals are available we well as showers, picnic tables & grills for days spent at the beach. Upon returning home an outdoor shower has been provided for added convenience. Also provided is a gas grill so don't forget to stop @ the local fish market on your stroll home.
Florida Village is a quiet, child friendly neighborhood with limited traffic.
Bicycle rentals are available for you to leisurely explore the beauty of nature at it's best along scenic Highway 30A. BIGFISH Bike Rentals will even deliver the bikes to your residence without an additional charge.
Ever popular 30A is an 18 mile stretch thru neighboring Villages of Blue Mountain, Grayton, Watercolors & Seaside for walking, jogging or riding bikes. Enjoy undisturbed Florida. Fill your senses as you pass along side white sandy beaches, turquoise & emerald waters, freshwater coastal lakes and sea oat covered dunes. Grayton State Park, 4.3 miles from this property, was rated in Southern Living as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. For a minimal fee ($2. per person) you will relish mother nature @ her best. You will also discover casual and fine waterfront dining, unique shops and galleries. There are several restaurants each with their own flare within walking distance.
After dinner, visit neighboring Gulf Place where summer festivals and concerts are held outdoors. Annual and ongoing events in the area include; Moonlight & Movies (bring a blanket), Bluegrass by the Beach, Wine Festivals, Art Festivals, etc.
At the end of the day relax with a book on the front porch swing or on the private deck off the master suite. High Speed Internet Access is available.
Visit Highway 98 (within 5min) to explore a different landscape including; Silver Sands Outlet Mall, The Market Shops of Sandestin and The Village of Baytowne Wharf for even more options in dining, shopping and entertainment.

Our stay at Blue Haven WAS memorable. Denise went out of her way to help with anything we needed - even mailing items left behind! Our family of six adults and our 22 month-old grandson enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious, well appointed, and located in an extremely quiet community of homes. Unlike a villa or a hotel, each night's sleep was uninterrupted. The distance to the beach is no problem on bikes(for folks able to ride bikes). Parking spaces were always available at the public beach access. *Due to an issue we had with a toddler and stairs, a baby gate is a must and is not provided with the house, other baby gear is provided and was much appreciated. Denise has a great little recommendation book filled with maps, brochures,and menus. Check it out!

Wow and Amazing were our first thoughts when we arrived on the property. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious. There were beach towels, pots/pans, spices, dishes...even ice was ready in the freezer. We were spoiled with the ameneties. The location was perfect for everyone - even for our older teenage girls. The area was not too crowded and had enough activities for everyone. I felt safe allowing the girls to drive themselves to the stores and neighboring towns. The beach was a nice 10 minute stroll. Restaurants, grocery stores and shops were also conveniently located just 10 minutes away. Visiting Seaside, Rosemary Beach and Destin was easy-peasy. Can you have so much fun that you end up being fit also on vacation? Well that's what happened. We just wanted to walk everywhere because the area was so beautiful. The people were so friendly. Fresh seafood and fruits were abundant and delicious. We had so much fun bike riding that we ended up doing over 20 miles in an afternoon. We all agreed that this would have to be a definite spring break tradition. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us.

We rented this home with my in-laws and my husband's brother's family. The oldest cousins slept in double beds together and couldn't have been happier. the babies each slept in a crib in their parents' bedrooms (which were big enough to accommodate), though when older they could likely camp out in the playroom. Each of the adults were more than happy with their stunning accommodations and the access to the pool and beach were perfect. nearby restaurants were great (we all got t-shirts at Stinky's and thoroughly enjoyed ice cream at Seaside) though the kitchen is a great layout for group cooking and on-site bbq helped with that as well! we are thinking about renting this exact property again next summer--starting a family tradition based on how much we loved our time spent here.
Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Our family of 4 stayed here, Spring Break 2009. I can only say GREAT things about this property. It was well furnished, clean, well equipped, great location, close to beach, (to some far, but the walk to the beach was beautiful). We plan on staying again next year. Denise was fabulous with information and quick responses to questions. Quiet, peaceful naeighborhood. I have nothing negative to say, so please do not hesitate to go to Santa Rosa and staying in this fabulous home.

We stayed in Blue Haven in Aug., 2008. I could not believe how beautiful the house was. The pictures we saw on the website did not do the house justice. My whole family was amazed. We enjoyed walking through the community to the pools and beach. We had a great time. Thanks for everything Denise.

We had a uniquely memorable experience at Blue Haven! The second day we were there we had lightning strike the home and it came in through the cable hook-up near the kitchen. We were sitting at the kitchen table and saw a white hot light come in through the cable connection. It fried our WII game system and my husband's work laptop and took out three tv's and a phone. It took out one water heater also. The dishwasher was replaced. Needless to say, with a house full of teenagers we were not happy. We never did salvage the WII or my husband's computer. We immediately called the cable company (it would have been helpful to have that number in the information booklet) but didn't have service again until later in the week. We called Denise and she took care of everything, as far as getting new tv's and the water heater repaired. Unfortunately, my husband had to lose a day of vacation waiting for repairmen to arrive, but we enjoyed the rest of the two weeks we rented. However, aside from the lightning, the home is spacious, well equipped and clean. There are two pools but both are rather small. The beach is a good walk and not easy if you have chairs etc. Bikes are expensive to rent, unfortunately. So most days we used our car to transport stuff to the beach. It is a quiet community and also kept clean. We appreciate the willingness on the part of the owners to keep our vacation enjoyable. They were prompt with repairs and helped us with expenses related to the lightning. This will certainly be one vacation we will remember for a long time. Art and Mary

This place is better than some of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in. We visited the B.Haven in May 2008. The location, the decor, the comfort, its all A++. If you want a terrific place to stay, this is wonderful. We loved it!! Geo/Bev

We absolutely LOVED Blue Haven and would recommend it to anyone who wants the most relaxing vacation of their lives. We enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL beachs, watched dolphins swim by every day! The sand is just the most beautiful sand in the world. We swam at the pool every afternoon, and enjoyed nightly walks to the beach! Blue Haven is all you need, we love everything about it and that is saying something since we drove a total of 26 hours each way with 4 children!!! I can't wait to do it again next year. Thank you Denise for all your help with planning our perfect family vacation.
