  This is a cute 2 bedroom 2 bath downstairs unit. The kitchen has everything one needs if you decide to eat in rather then enjoy the many wonderful restaurants nearby. Its a close walk to beautiful mission beach, which also has lots of cute shops and places to eat. Washer and dryer are included in the unit, along with a barbque outside for your enjoyment. Mike & Mary, the owners, provide everything you need to enjoy your stay in beautiful San Diego. There is cable tv to enjoy at the end of your busy day. Everything is clean and it has location location location. The wifi signal is good. My husband and I spent a week here and everything was absolutely perfect.

  Traveled from AZ with a friend from England, her daughter and 2 year old grandson. This place is perfect, walk to the bay and the little one enjoyed the water and digging in the sand. Walk to the beach and watch sufers, including Mike, the owner!. Drive 30 minutes to Legoland, drive 10 minutes to Seaworld, ( or follow the advice of someone else on here as we did, grab a cab for @ $11 and get dropped off at the gate. Great restarants close by, eat in, take out, get delivery.(Really liked Luigi;s Italian). Just one complaint.......wish we could have stayed longer!!

  Enjoyable property to stay. Would recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay close to the bay and beach. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Would stay at this property again!

  Wonderful, quaint condo so close to beach, parks, shops, restaurants easily to get to from interstate. Well maintained place and friendly owners. We will be back if we ever return to the area! Thanks.

  This is our second time at the Island Beach House. We can't wait to stay again. The owners are always around if you need them. The location is perfect for the amusement park, beach and wave house just a short walk away. Thanks again Mike and Mary, The Tracys

  We just returned from a weeks vacation at this property and let me tell you it was wonderful! We are a family of 3 (with a 3 yr old) and the condo was sooo much better than any hotel would have been. First the condo itself was perfect (the pics online don't do it justice, its better in person!) it was VERY clean, spacious, and had all the amenities a family would need for a beach vacation. The outdoor (fenced in patio) was great for BBQ, playing, and hanging out at night when the little one was sleeping. You could not ask for a better location, it was literally steps from the bay and a three minute walk to the ocean, boardwalk, and the famous Belmont Park. The SD Zoo & Balboa Park were only a 10 minute drive and Sea World (my little ones fav) was less than a 5 minute drive away. The location is laid back but minutes from all the action. Our hosts, Mike & Mary, could not have been nicer. Before we arrived, they supplied us with a great deal of info and answered any questions very quickly. While there, they were helpful with directions and suggestions of the areas attractions. They helped make it a wonderful trip! Next time we are in the San Diego/Mission Beach area, we would stay here again.

  This is an extremely well maintained property with a comfortable and homey feel . There are 2 bathroom/showers and the front yard and barbeque area is drenched in sun for most of the day. The bustling Belmont park area is only a minute's walk away but the lane where the property is situated is surprisingly quiet. You couldn't find more friendly or helpful owners than Mike and Mary and we would happily recommend this rental to anyone wanting to holiday in PB.

  We were very very pleased with these accommodations. We have been to San Diego countless times and have never stayed in the same place twice. Now we definitely will! The location is perfect - quiet yet close to the oceanside boardwalk where you can see it all or the bay side which gives a different perspective. Mike and Mary are great hosts and have thought of everything, even generously sharing smoked fish that Mike had recently caught. The rental is clean and comfortable. Mission Beach/Pacific Beach is a great area where you can walk to many things yet it's also easy to drive to anywhere around San Diego. We will be back.

  This beach house is a fabulous vacation rental. Being right between Mission Bay and the Ocean Boardwalk, it's a great central location for walking, biking, shopping and restaurants etc. It's really close to everything. The house itself is roomy, comfortable and very well maintained. What can I say about the owners; Mike and Mary--they are the greatest! They're very friendly, informative and helpful! We loved our stay and will be back next year!

  We stayed a week in San Diego, and split out time between Mission Beach and buying a 3-day Go San Diego card, which got us in Sea World, the Zoo, USS Midway, Harbor Tour, Belmont Park/Water Sports, etc., etc. This condo was very convenient and close to the beach, area restaurants, and shopping; and close to the various tourist venues we attended. The condo was very comfortable and worked well for our family of 4. The owners, Mike and Mary, are very helpful and friendly, and it was nice to know they were nearby if we needed them. We spent most of our time outside at the beach or attending the local attractions, but it was nice to come home to a comfortable and roomy condo. I would highly recommend this place and would rent here again.
