  We ( 3 adults and 3 kids 7y,4y and 10months ) spent a week in Bob's amazing house early April. The location of the house is the best we could imagine, right on the beach, a couple of steps and we were swimming in turquoise waters. Everyday Sea turtles came to join us, unbelievable experience!! The house is beautiful, spacious, quiet. The kitchen is well equipped. The view from the deck is breathtaking. We used the canoes, the beach toys, the stroller, the Bbq...It was difficult to get out of the house as we had everything we needed on site! Kailua shops including a great Whole Foods are 5 minutes drive away. Our stay was perfect. Thank you so much Bob. Mahalo! Karine

  What an unforgettable week we had at the beach house! The place certainly lives up to its description and expectation. My wife and I who were recently married and decided on a "FamilyMoon" and brought along some of our close family for a week in Hawaii. The house was perfect (delightfully decorated, airy and clean) and everyone of all ages was comfortable and had a fantastic time. Bob is very hospitable and accommodating and made sure that all of our needs were met during our stay. He even went out of his way to fix the internet which went down during our stay. There were lots of beach toys to play with including canoes and a paddle board. There are a couple of bikes as well. Its like you have your own private, calm beautiful ocean steps in front of your house! We spent every minute we could in the water swimming with fish and turtles. We made the scenic paddle out to the "mokes" islands and spent time on the beach there. We even had a wonderful hike to the "pillbox" hiking trail which starts near the house. There is something for everyone at the Beach House. There are great supermarkets and stores nearby to stock up on food. We ate in most days but had amazing meals at the local restaurants like Baci and the Kalapawai Cafe (highly recommended!). We would certainly recommend this to any of our friends and go back again.   Hello All, We had a wonderful vacation in Hawaii and Bob was a fantastic host as he was available at anytime for any request(s). This was the first time I have rented a vacation home and it was beyond my expection as my entire family (wife, 3 teenagers and my in-laws) as we were literally 4-5 feet away from the gorgeous beach & soft sand!! I was a bit skeptical of the pictures but when we arrived and looked out the window or on the patio, I knew we were in PARADISE!! It was so peaceful/quiet during the evening/night since all you can hear is the waves rolling into the beach. If you are looking for some place that is peaceful and away from the "rat race" then call/email Bob. I'm only written a few recommendations/reviews on properties but I can't say enough great things about Bob, his restaurant recommendations and little extras (paddle board, 2 kayaks) that were at our disposal at anytime. No extra fees or difficulties in using them...just walk outside your patio, take either the board or kayaks down the stairs and start having fun!! I rented some snorkling gear/fins for my teens so they could swim out to see the fish and huge sea turtles. If I would make any suggestions, book a long trip than 9 days as it's well worth every penny!! There was so much room in the house ( 4 separate sitting/living rooms that if you needed your own private/quiet time there's no problem). Make sure you have room for some mochies at Bubbies (lychee favour is the best!!) in the University district, Bochi's for Italian food and the night market that's only 10 minutes away as the food is very fantastic!! I will recommend all my friends and family to book this house instead of booking 2-3 hotel rooms!! Aloha & Mahalo!! Steve

  We're coming back again, Bob!!! My family and I booked this beachfront home in mid August and we had the most wonderful memories and experiences that we're coming back again this August. This home is right on the ocean...literally! You walk out to the backyard deck, down the stairs, and right into the most azure blue water (with turtles swimming by all day long). The yard area around the property is perfect and private. The owner, who lives a few blocks away, was super accommodating, but, he also gave us our privacy on our vacation. He supplied us with stand up paddle boards, bikes, kayaks, and boogie boards to use. The interior of the home is well designed, unique, and very comfortable. We spent our days playing in the water, kayaking to The Mokes, bike riding to the local market and all around the town of LaniKai. We had the best memories at this house (not to mention the best photo ops)...and so will you!

  Hard to believe 3 weeks have passed since we returned home from this breathtaking spot! I have shared pictures of this place 100 times since then! It is an understatement to say the view takes your breath away! Everything was perfect with this house and the location. There are no exaggerations in the pictures, it really is "all that" and more. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. In fact, one of the bikes had a flat tire and the owner came over right away to pump it up! There are neighbors who stay in the front of the property who are just a delight. The beds are comfy, the master shower is wonderful. There are several comfortable seating areas, and be sure to bring your iphone or ipod, because they have a docking station with speakers everywhere! I will be back as soon as I can!

  We are very familiar with the Kailua-Lanikai beach community. We chose this property for our "staycation" celebrating Mom's 99th Birthday. With a little forethought and some personal equipment from home, the ground floor master suite worked really well for us. There are elevation changes between some rooms and getting in and out of the property [1-2 steps] but very managable and with the open floor plan, the house is very accessible to people are ambulatory with walkers and assistance. The property is well appointed - casual elegance, calm, relaxing, private, great flow for entertaining and yet enough separation for everyone to find their own space when needed. And, the view …. from the moment you enter ... STUNNING … BRILLIANT ... BREATHTAKING ... one of the best on the beach [this coming from local residents]. From the deck, a 180 degree view from Kaneohe Marine Air Station to Makapu'u Lighthouse. Lots of ocean activities for those who want to jump in and for those who want to watch. There is no need to turn on the TV when you have the nature channel on 24/7 on the big screen picture windows: sunrise, rainbows, moonrise, tropical rain storm, stellar clear days, and stars - we had it all during our stay.   Took a trip with 4 couples, plenty of space. The house is huge with a great floor plan and is beautiful! Great views of the pacific in your backyard, walk down to the beach. Kayaks and paddleboards available to use so thats great. Location is excellent and you can walk to Pillbox hiking trail, which is a must do! Bob, the owner is the coolest also! Would definitely stay here agian!

  Location! Location! Location! There are many beautiful spots on Oahu but me and my family found that this property had everything we were looking for and more to make our vacation complete. As many have already commented Bob the owner makes himself available to assist you in the transition to your stay on the Island so that no time is wasted. The open living spaces and furnishings in this home were perfect for my group of 7 adults and one child. This property gave us a complete experience of Sight Sound and Feel the moment we entered the front gate and didn't stop until we left the front gate again. SIGHTS of the beautiful home, property grounds,and continuous views of blue/green water contrasted with the islands out the back door; SOUNDS of the continuous breeze and waves breaking only steps away, your favorite music playing wirelessly throughout the house all taking you to sleep in the evenings; and FEEL of your bare feet on the beautiful wooden floors, outside decks, soft grassy yard and sandy beach. It's difficult to describe or even imagine until you enter this Experience and then you don't want to leave. As I said Bob is there to introduce you to your Experience and make your transition immediate. Our stay exceeded our expectations in every way and we will definitely plan on returning to this spot on Lanikai Beach very soon. Thanks Bob!

  My soon to be husband and I rented this great beach house to have our wedding and stay with our five children for 9 days in December. Unfortunately our plans changed due to family but Bob was fantastic. I sent him an email explaining our circumstances and he immediately sent back our deposit and even promised that if we come back he'll hold our rate for us. We were very disappointed we would not be getting married on the beach in this stunning house, but Bob made it one less thing we had to worry about. We will definitely be heading to Hawaii soon and when we do, it will be here. Thank you Bob for being so quick and so understanding.

  This home is ideal for anyone seeking a holiday in paradis with all the comforts and conveniencs you need at your doorstep. The beach at Lanalai is one of the most jaw dropping and welcoming as I have ever found in Hawaii. We have two small sons and the calms ocean, the almost fantasy like beach and sand combined with a calm and quiet beach and surrounding area make this perfect for a beach getaway. The home itself is very spacious and has a very nice and open living, dining and kitchen area. IT has all the comforts of home with a view and access to the water which is to do for. The ability to walk down some steps and be swimming, paddling or rafting in the most beautiful turqoiuse blue ocean you could ever imagine is priceless. Add to that the owner, Bob, is always there when you need him and very welcoming is an added bonus.
