This cozy cabin is located near Duck Creek Village in southern Utah south of Cedar City. Zion National Park, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and Bryce Canyon National Park are each less than 45 minutes away from the cabin. Within a 20 minute drive from the cabin is Cedar Breaks National Monument, Panquitch Lake, and Brian Head Ski and Summer Resort. Many opportunities to mountain bike, canoe, and hike are available in the beautiful surroundings.
In addition to a few mountain shops and stores, there are ATV’s available for rent in Duck Creek Village - and more than 500 miles of ATV and snowmobile trails around the cabin! ATV trails (which can also be accessed by vehicle) lead to popular fishing spots such as Aspen Mirror Lake, Navajo Lake, and Duck Creek / Lake. Other nearby places to explore is the Ice Cave, Mammoth Creek Lava Caves, and Cascade Falls.
The cabin itself is nestled in the back of a large half-acre lot covered in aspen and pine trees. Behind the cabin is a picnic table, fire pit, bird feeders, a salt block for deer, and very peaceful surroundings secluded from the road. The cabin sleeps 6-8 people comfortably. There is a queen bed in the extra room on the main level, a King in the Master bedroom upstairs, a queen bed in the loft upstairs, and a queen air-o-bed which can be blown up in the loft or living room.
The wood burning stove, in the center of the cabin, creates a wonderful aroma and keeps the cabin very warm. Board games and video games are provided in the common area, and additional entertainment is in the basement, which includes Foosball and convertible games for children such as ping pong, air hockey, and billiards.
A propane grill is provided, as is plenty of firewood. This cabin is the perfect vacation get away for families and friends!!! Please email me for additional pictures. And please no smoking or pets!
