I just wanted you to know what an incredible time we had this past weekend. The house was even more than we had hoped for! So much room for togetherness and space to be alone too (we all have small kids and alone is sometimes scarce). Wonderful! Please let the owners know how much we talked about the decor and the paint. Silly, but we are women! We all agreed we would definitely recommend it to friends and hope to come back again some time. Thanks for helping us save our much needed Girls Weekend.

Despite the heat (who would have thought record crashing) we all enjoyed the house very much. All the games in the garage were great fun, the movie selection was great – all the girls and the horror movies – I am sure you can imagine. We appreciated that their screams were hard to hear. Once again, we are having a wonderful time here at the Libelle house! You guys continue to remind us how well you stock and present a rental. During the rainy days, we have had plenty to do and the sunny days are really something else. As waterskiers, we love this lake. You will be able to count on us for at least a solid week every summer!

Everything was wonderful. We loved the little town of LaConnor. My friend taught me how to knit on the plane ride and we all bought yarn at this little shop and knitted up a storm. We didn't even turn on the TV. The tulips were so beautiful, we went to both farms and stopped several times to take pictures. The first night we arrived, we sat out on the deck as the weather was warm and beautiful. We had dinner at the Big Lake Bar and Grill. It was good. Your house had everything that we needed. Thanks so much!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. I brought an electric roaster pan with us, so I baked the turkey in your oven and when it was done, transfered it to the electric roaster and baked all the rest of the meal in the oven. Everything was hot and ready to eat all at the same time. It was delightful. Your kitchen had all the amenities I needed for the whole time. (I brought so many unnecessary bowls, pans, utensils etc. since most vacation rentals lack the items I'm used to using to cook for large groups.) We enjoyed every minute of using your home. We had the most wonderful weekend in your great home! Jeanie, our birthday "celeb" just couldn't believe that we had found such a perfect place to celebrate with her. And we managed to get out between rain showers for 2 great walks! The rest of the time we just lounged, read, and did what your sign instructed us to do .."relax, relax, relax"!! We will look forward to the return of our deposit... which we are talking about putting into a "group" savings for another run-away weekend at Big Lake :-) Thanks again for your generosity in sharing your home with us! Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Libelle House. The house is delightful and we found everything we could possibly need and much more. Thank you so much for the welcoming bottle of wine and we were so touched that you called to check on things. The lake was so peaceful and we were lucky to have beautiful crisp mornings with mist rising off the lake and warm sunny afternoons followed by clear starry nights. We practically lived on the main level deck. We really enjoyed watching the kingfishers and herons and many ducks – we even saw a couple of eagles. I can’t say enough about what a pleasant find your house was. We hope to be able to do a similar stay next year and we will be contacting you this spring as we begin planning our fall getaway. Ann , What a lovely place. The place is a dream, absolutely magnificent . The weather could not have been nicer, the nights were beautiful watching the moon on the lake. We took advantage of all the amenities except the metal boat. But did go out on the round sit down tube. Your home is so comfortable and so well stocked with everything one would need to relax and enjoy their stay there. Went on some beautiful drives to Edison, up Chuckanut drive, La Connor, Sedro-Wooley. Ate/drank twice at the Big Lake Bar & Grill, cooked most of the other meals. We stopped in at the roundabout restaurant, had a great meal with a very reasonable price, great way start to the day. Are you the soccer mom in the art work in the downstairs bath, or the dragonfly picture? Too clever! We raked the front area and picked up leaves for some exercise one evening when it was just so beautiful. Love gardening and what a delight to do some in such a nice setting! Some neighbors did pass by and commented they wished they had someone to do their yard work. Missed out on signing the book in last minute rush to depart, had no desire to leave, really. But it would have read like a masterpiece article of ambiance, delight, mixed in with relaxation, love & laughter with all the comforts of home. I felt as if we had won the lottery, everyone else was as delighted, excited and comforted as I was. Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing your home with my family and friends, we took care of it as if it were our own. Thank you again and I am in hopes that it will be available next year for the MS ride, and the grandkids will be on board.

The property was like a dream come true. You know it is never as good as it reads in the add. Well this one is a keeper, exceeds your expectations on arrival.You are going to be very pleased if you have made this rental your choice. Right down to the artwork on the walls, the game room in the garage. There's something for everyone and plenty of room to do it. The furnishings are very comfy, the property is well maintained, the linens are fresh, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Quiet laundry room downstairs. Rock yourself to sleep in the oversized rockers on the patio, paddle out into the beautiful lake waters in the early morning. This propertyty has it all. If peace and quiet are what you are looking for, or venturing out into town to the local grocers, biking on some beautiful pathways, jet-sking, whatever. There even a Costco within 8 miles.Go, relax, enjoy and then go back again, I know we will!

We were awesomely surprised by the beauty of the area this house is located and the at home comfortable feeling we had. It was very easy to settle in and enjoy our famly for a week and do a lot of site seeing around Bellingham and Seattle. We had fun using the "game room" and paddling around on the lake in the row boat. Thank you to the owners (again!) for providing such a wonderful get-a-way home. It is beautifully decorated and very well kept, a lot of hard work and time went into make this the perfect vacatin spot.

We had the best time!! Your home was perfect, we were so impressed with the house, there wasn't anything that we needed. You have made it a top of the line rental and we would recommend it to everyone, we even had 3 sunsets out of 4, not bad. The kids played games when it was to wet to go outside and my 9 year old caught a huge bass off the dock the first day. We had my 18 year old son, niece and friends over for barbecues everyday. We were very sad to go, we will definitely be back next year for at least a week or more. Thank you so much for a great vacation, !!!

I looked for weeks for the the perfect vacation rental to bring my husband and children to. I was born and raised in Washington State, I lived on Big Lake for a while when my oldest son was 2, then moved to Arizona 14 years ago. We were coming back for my son's graduation and wanted the perfect vacation spot for all of us. I was amazed with Michelle's home the second I walked in the door, I have never stayed in a home that spared no expense on anything!! It was my husbands first time in Washington State and I couldn't have picked a better place for him to experience the GREAT NORTHWEST. We had more then enough room for everyone, the kids were never bored for a moment between the board games, movies, fishing, boating, camp fires with smores and a great place for a graduation party. We will be back for sure, next time it will be for weeks in July when it sun shines everyday. Again, Thank you Michelle for the use of your great home, we will be back!!

I've stayed at "furnished" rentals before and it usually leads to a few trips to the store for different items. Not so at this gorgeous lakefront home. The house has absolutely everything you could need and it's beautifully kept on top of that. Our family had a wonderfuly stay here and will want to come back again and again!!!

We were so impressed with the house and all the amenities. For the college students- the big screen TV's and DVD collection was a great bonus. We had just a fabulous time at your home. We wrote in your book before we departed to express our feelings about our stay. It is such a perfect home and everyone was so impressed and comfortable.The setting was just awesome!! It was peaceful and relaxing, all that my family and my brother’s friends needed at this time. Your home had all the conveniences and is well supplied!!! Both visitors and residents alike just raved about the décor and amenities. Parking was perfect for the motor home and accommodated all visitors and guests. Some of my family members are talking about returning to your home in the summer. My husband and I are considering in a couple of years returning about this time with our family. So obviously we are all thrilled and look forward to future visits to “The Big Lake House”.

Your house is wonderful. It was quite stormy on Saturday night so we did our best to make sure everything was guarded from the wind. We were going to eat out on Saturday night but decided that because the house was so comfortable and inviting that we should eat in. I love the cute little portraits in the downstairs bathroom.
