What could be better than waking to the sound of rolling surf? The sun rises like it can only do over a Florida ocean, while the aroma of fresh coffee fills your suite. The only thing better than dreaming about staying on the ocean on Florida's Treasure Coast, is actually staying HERE! When you stay at our gorgeous, upgraded 4th floor corner on the ocean on Hutchinson Island, Florida, you'll soon find true vacation bliss.
IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS UNIT IS OPEN FOR APRIL 2010. THE ORIGINAL TENANT MOVED THEIR DATE, BUT SINCE IT IS USUALLY BOOKED FOR APRIL...PLEASE CALL RIGHT AWAY! ONE OF OUR MOST COMMON QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER: ASSOCIATION REQUIRES A ONE MONTH MINIMUM RENTAL.
If you are visiting Florida, stay ON THE BEACH! This completely renovated, two bedroom, two bath, large, corner unit is awaiting you and your family to call it home. It is the largest unit in the completely renovated Ocean Towers complex, Building A. A north-east facing home that is completely tiled throughout, features upgraded appliances, wireless DSL, comfortable furnishings, sleeps 4 plus there's a roll-away and inflatable for extra guests. This unit overlooks the pool, so if the kids are splashing below, you can keep an eye on them from the window or the wrap-around balcony.
Nature is no stranger to Hutchinson either. You nearly always see turtles nesting in the evening and playful dolphin swimming by in the morning.
At night, you can relax on the balcony, watch a hit movie from the dozens of DVDs provided, or take a ten minute ride over the Jensen Boulevard Bridge to historic downtown Stuart, home of The Lyric Theater, Kilwins Ice Cream Parlor, shops, 7 restaurants, live music, and history. There is also the Treasure Coast Mall with all the stores you know and love, plus a 16-theater movie complex. On launch days, you can see the shuttle blast off up from Cape Canaveral right from your balcony. The cape is only 100 miles north.
But what you will enjoy most in this unit, is the fact that you are just seconds from the sand. Take an elevator to the beach or pop down the stairs at your door. (Jumping off the balcony is not recommended!) There are also tennis courts and two outside grills for your cooking pleasure. Hutchinson Island also has great biking trails! Sunday mornings it's breathtaking to bike to the top of the Stuart Causeway or Jensen Boulevard bridge and have a seat on the bench overlooking the St. Lucie River.
During the day, wander up the beach to the north and enjoy some of the best shelling in the world. Or, take a very short stroll south along the surf for lunch or dinner on the beach, at the newly renovated "Island Beach" restaurant, the only beachfront dining on Hutchinson, where you'll find live island music on the weekends. You can walk down the beach to it, or, drive across the causeway and enjoy Conchy Joe's waterfront dining, a landmark since 1925. Carmella's Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar is exceptional.
To stay in our gorgeous unit, association rules require a one month minimum for renters, as we mentioned, but you will not want to stay any less! Trust me!

- Balcony: This is a large wraparound balcony. Only the corners have this! Some of the best views on Hutchinson can be seen from here, plus you have a super view of the pool area if the kids are swimming, to keep an eye on them. See the dolphin in the morning or maybe witness turtles nesting. Please don't disturb them! They are our treasures!
- Gazebo: right on the beach. Great for watching sunrises and catching shuttle launches from Cape Kennedy 95 miles to the north.
- View/Location
- Beachfront: There's nothing like stepping down and right to the sand. Be in the water in less than a minute! You'll find a selection of beach chairs and rafts, plus a styrofoam cooler, in the guest room closet.
- Oceanfront: See the boats buzz by, an occasional blimp, thrilling wind surfers and board surfers often entertain (no cover charge).

- Biking is really awesome here. We love to ride over the Jensen Blvd Causeway in the morning and circle down to the Stuart Causeway. Great bike lanes in the road and very scenic. Lots of places to stop for a cool drink or view

We have always loved the Florida beaches and having a vacation home right on the ocean is a dream come true. For us, Stuart is a wonderful town. Every major restaurant and retail outlet is here, so you can get what you need, but can retreat to Hutchinson Island when you're ready to relax. Part of the fun of owning this property is discovering new restaurants each time we come up. Recently we found a wonderful wine tasting restaurant just west of the Stuart bridge on the north side, called Carmella's. By the way, do you know there is not one parking meter in Stuart? Another thing we really love is when friends and family can share in this magical place and then tell us how much they enjoyed it. We hope you will too. Why the Owner Chose Ocean Towers
It was close enough to where we live full time to make it easy to get to, yet far enough away that we feel we are on vacation when we stay here. We have made some wonderful friends in the complex and we get together with them when we come up. There are some amazing restaurants with a beachy feel and some very upscale places too! We find the great variety, friendly people, and beach atmosphere very attractive...oh, and the sunrises are unbelievable from our balcony.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
Incredible jaw dropping ocean view from nearly every room, and especially the spacious wrap-around balcony. What we love more than anything is watching dolphin swim by in the morning, and discovering new turtle nests first thing after sunrise. Walking up and down the beach may take you quite a while as you stop and pick up spectacular shells along the way. Hutchinson Island is known for its shelling. We love to take a walk down the beach to the mansion near the Jensen Blvd Causeway. It's quite a nice walk in the morning or at dusk. One of the great beachfront dining spots is returning to its old glory: Shuckers is coming back! Just a five minute walk down the beach! Great weekend hangout, live music, cool drinks!
