We loved this apartment and the owner was the best I've ever dealt with! Apartment is exactly as described and more. Immaculately clean upon our check-in. Furniture is comfortable, but smart. Great windows with excellent views and light. Plenty of light fixtures and outlets throughout the apartment. Blinds allows for privacy when desired, while allowing cross ventilation when necessary, and when absolutely necessary, double paned glass insulates from the noise of the streets below. There were four of us in the main apartment, one couple in the double room with en suite bathroom, while two singles slept in the twin beds in the spare and shared the hall cupboard and hall bath. Plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking light meals and spreading out food, either self-prepared or brought in from the various bakeries, groceries, food shops, etc, from the streets below. Fully equipped with laundry facility (iron and board). Both bathrooms had hair dryers as well. Kitchen included dishwasher and plenty of dishes. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also we, rented the connecting studio for an additional bedroom. See my separate review, if interested.

i stayed here for the second time in mid March, 2012 and the first time in March, 2011. i really like this apartment! It is not fussy in decor so you don't need to worry about breaking anything. Yet the location is so central to the best of Paris. rue Rambuteau is full of shopping for both food and boutiques. Several bakeries, butchers, grocers, etc nearby including the famous "Pain du Sucre." Le Marais is a wonderful area to explore. I also love that you can walk to the Seine and Notre Dame. And the view from the apartment is lovely. The open kitchen in the apartment is great for cooking and spreading out a nice meal. Beds are very comfy. Fabien, our host, is fabulous, both times! Fabien, we love you! Arrangements are easy to make and again, Fabien took good care of all of us. I have been twice to this apartment and I might be back again! Merci beaucoup!

The listing of this property was incredibly accurate - the flat was spacious, clean, & was in a great location! The owner was very thorough in his communication prior to arrival. The check-in process was smooth & we felt very comfortable after a tour of the flat that we would have everything we would need for our stay. The neighborhood was lively & there were great markets, shops & entertainment close by. The access to the metro was excellent & enabled our family to easily navigate the city to see all the museums and sites that were on our "list" upon arrival. This flat was a great place to come at the end of each night to relax and rejuvenate for our next day of exploration. We would highly recommend this property to a friend or relative and would recommend the site to any friend or relative who was planning an adventure in another city or country.

The apartment is very large and beautiful - modern. The kitchen has wonderful appliances and everything you need to cook a great meal. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large and very modern. We were however disappointed in a few advertised amenities. The a/c is only in the living room so we had to leave our windows open at night. Very noisy area. We were woken up nightly at 3:00 a.m. Very loud people leaving the bars, lots of screaming and lots of sirens. The wireless is not realiable, we were never on more than 5 minutes before we would lose signal. The washer/dryer is one unit and the dryer does not work well at all...this is what Bertrand told us during the apartment briefing and he was correct. Count on 2 hours to dry a very small load. During the briefing Bertrand pointed out each and every flaw and what damage prior renters had done to the apartment. My daughter was taking a nap on the couch and was scolded by Bertrand for having naked feet on the couch. He did stop by later and cover the couch. Due to hearing about the past renters we never really felt at home. We were worried about our deposit and what he might keep if we left a scoff mark on the wall. The apartment is very nice but I would not stay again.

We cannot recommend this apartment enough. We stayed there at the beginning of July for 2 weeks. The apartment is beautiful,clean,elegant and very comfortable. We where travelling with my parents and our 2 children ages 8 and 9. We loved the view of the Pompidou from the windows. The view of the Eiffel Tower. Our kids loved having breakfast out on the Balcony. We felt we where in the most hip spot in Paris. We walked everywhere from our apartment. It is located close to 2 Metro stations. The most important thing for us though was that it was very safe. Bertrand was a pleasure to rent from. Very honest and trustworthy. Plus in the evening we would just walk down and pick from one of the many wonderful restaurant in the plaza or wald to Place de Vosges which is one of the most beautiful plazas you can imagine.

We stayed for a month and had a simply wonderful time; The Apartment is everything we imagined and expected--- It's location is ideal to do a whole range of activities. Restaurants and bistros are everywhere. Within half a block in either direction you have all the shops you will need to eat like a king. Thank you Bertrum

We were met at the apartment by our frendly host and given a very comprehensive overview of the various facilities and equipment, including kitchen appliances, TV and Internet. We were shown around the property and how to use the lifts, lock doors etc. The property is in an excellent location with a multitude of resturants and shops near by. The nearest Metro station is only a 100 metres away. There is a panoramic view of the Pompidou Centre and surrounds, from the 6th floor balcony. The apartment was very clean,stylish and tidy. We would certainly rent it again when in Paris.

We really enjoyed our 4-night stay in late April at this wonderful apartment overlooking the Pompidou Center. Beautifully updated with sleek and contemporary design, it proved a perfect choice for our party of 5. The bedrooms were spacious, with very comfortable beds. The pull-out sofa was likewise very comfy. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed, and the open floor plan for kitchen and living area were ideal. Loved the little balcony overlooking the plaza of the Pompidou Center! Being on the 6th floor affords great views, and it was handy to have 2 elevators. Great location in the Marais, within close walking distance to so many great restaurants, shops, and sites. Booking was very easy (thanks, Bertrand!). Would definitely recommend this Paris gem.

Location, location, location best describes this apartment. Restaurants, shops, bars and the Metro/RER are right out the door. We were attending a trade fair for near a week in Paris and this apartment was perfect. Very nicely appointed with new up to date appliances with a well stocked kitchen. It was great having two bathrooms; never having to wait on each other. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and were met by a representative of the owner. Upon departure, the representative met us at designated time and also had booked a taxi for us for the airport. I would lke to use this apartment again on a return trip to Paris!

What you see is what you get. Everything was exactly like described in the appartment description and shown on the pictures. Moreover, when we arrived the appartment was sparkling clean and the Landlord was kind enough to explain everything there is to know about the neighbourhood. Le Marais is a great location. You will find everything at walking distance, (restaurants, boulangerie, supermarket, etc.). It was a great experience thet we will certainly repeat in the future.

My mother, sister and I enjoyed a wonderful weeks stay in the apartment at 50 Rambuteau! We were very pleased with the apartment, the location and the surrounding neighborhood. Your friend did an excellent job in walking us around the apartment and explaining how things worked (oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc). I would definitely recommend your apartment to others and would stay here again.

My family loved our girls week long stay in Paris. This was our first time to rent an apartment on a trip and we are so happy we did. The location was great and the apartment met all of our expectations and would please the most discriminating tastes! It was spacious enough for the 6 of us women and the 2 bathrooms came in handy in the mornings. The entire apartment is well furnished, clean, modern, and all appliances are up to date. The kitchen has modern appliances and everything you would need. Each bedroom has comfortable beds and a bathroom. There was all the ammenities of home with a security entrance, free wifi, cable, laundry, and local calls. The flat is overlooking Centre Pompidou, which was full of activity and includes also many great bakeries, shops, and cafes. It is a busy area but it was overall very quiet. My favorite feature is the view of the top half of the Tour Eiffel from the balcony, and catching it sparkle for the first 5 minutes of the hour at night. The Seine River is a short walk away as well as many attractions. Subway stop is right on corner and taxis were fairly easy to catch as well. Not knowing the city, we really appreciated how personable and knowledgeable the owners were during our pre-planning, as well as upon our arrival (and departure!). We hope to have another opportunity to visit Paris, we will definitely rent and also recommend this apartment to others. Merci beaucoup for making our trip so memorable! We will start dreaming of coming back one day!

My extended family of 6 stayed for a 6 night visit to Paris. Your apartment was exactly as promised. We found it to be in an ideal location to tour the sights of Paris. My husband enjoyed being able to take a night photo of the Eiffel Tower just like the one on your listing page. After a long day sightseeing it was such a pleasure to sit out on the balcony sipping our french wine (something of an adventure in itself not knowing the language when purchasing) and watch the evening roll in. Your apartment had everything required for an Australian Tourist to feel at home with all the modern facilities. We purchased a basil plant from the nursery on the same street which we used in our cooking during our Europe holiday. We were also fortunate to be there on a public holiday and were able to sit down in the square below and watch the holiday activities. My husband would venture out in the morning to the local bakeries and fruit stalls which were abundant and very close by. We definately recommend your apartment to anyone and hope one day we can return for a much longer period. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy your very clean and well equiped apartment.
