Leave the city bustle behind and stay in this charming, tranquil cottage for a weekend or a full week. As you sit on your 30 foot by 40 foot deck which is bordered by beautiful trees, looking out on a peaceful cove, the last thing on your mind will be a conference call, Palm Pilot appointment, noisy neighbors or a blaring television set. In fact, there is only a hand full of neighbors on our street!
Located in Gainesville, Georgia, this cottage was recently completely renovated and placed in service. Prior, it was a personal residence. It includes all the necessities to have an action-packed week of fun for the whole family. Located on Lake Lanier, families can immerse themselves in swimming, boating, sailing, tubing, rafting, fishing, water-skiing, and wakeboarding.
Wade into the water from the shore, swim off the covered dock, or relax on the second party deck which is located on top of the covered boat dock that's positioned in the middle of the cove's end. Or, you can motor out of the quiet cove and water-ski, wakeboard or fish till your heart's content. And since this cottage is on the north end of the lake, your family will not be subjected to heavy boat traffic that is found on the south end of the lake.
Located very close to Gainesville Marina, and just two and a half miles off of Highway 53, this cottage is easy to find by either boat or car.
If you want to launch your boat, do so at Robinson Park which is located just down the road. It is a short ride, by water, to the cottage and directions will be provided. Once you arrive at the cottage, you can tie up your boat to the dock. If you want to rent a boat, give us a call and we will help you locate a rental.
Although nestled away, there is plenty of shopping, food and fun within easy reach. And since this cottage is a great value for your money, you will have dollars left over to enjoy many of the featured attractions in the area.
