Beautiful clean 3 level, 3500 square feet mountain house near Grand Lake, Colorado is the perfect place for your next mountain get-a-way. Great views from 3 decks. Enough seating for 16 people at three tables. House sits on the north shore of Lake Granby and has wonderful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. This is the ideal home for 6 to 8 adults plus kids, up to 16 people total. There are 3 bedrooms on the upper level for the adults and one large bunk room on the lower level that's great for up to 7 kids/teens.

Sol Vista ski area is just 15 minutes away, Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski area 30 minutes away. Grand Lake, Colorado just ten minutes to the North and the West Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park just twelve minutes away. A Marina at Lake Granby is a 2 min. drive or you can walk there. Hiking and fishing within walking distance. Excellent fishing from the canal just a short walk from the house. Views from the bedrooms, living and dining room as well as the two decks.

  • Twin/Single Bed: Third bedroom on 3rd level has two twin beds, closet and nightstands.
  • Bunk Bed: Bunk Room. There are 3 twin size beds on lower (ground) level floor and 2 full beds. This bedroom can sleep five adults(or 7 children) and has a bathroom, laundry room, hot tub and shower in ajoining rooms.
  • Convertible Bed: 2 queen size sofa beds, and one queen size aero bed in the living room on 2nd level.

  • Eighteen of us enjoyed a wonderful ‘family get-away’ in the summer of 2009. This was a first for us as an entire family, and no one was disappointed. As each group arrived, I heard exclamations of how beautiful and spacious the place was, so it was obvious that it exceeded everyone’s expectations. This mountain home sits on a hill with an unobstructed view of Lake Granby just a couple of blocks away. Each one came with an expectation of what they wanted to get out of this trip whether it was just having the whole family together in a beautiful mountain setting, seeing wildlife, fishing, boating, hiking, or hanging out and playing board games and cards. We ate breakfasts and evening meals in. One night we had a fish fry—a tasty addition to the previous evening’s leftovers. Special bonuses were the hot tub, games of whiffle ball in the backyard, and a Saturday night bon fire. Our five-year-old grandson was delighted to find a couple of adults who would eat his roasted marshmallows, which were burnt to perfection. That night he told his dad, “I love this house,” and in the morning he said he didn’t want to leave. I heartily recommend this beautiful home to your family.

  • What a wonderful clean house that we were able to stay at for our family vacation. The kids caught fish and we hiked everday. Our favorite hikes were Monarch lake, Adams Falls, and the hike to the old 1800's German homesite in Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park. Thanks for allowing us to use your wonderful home again!
