  We could not have been happier with this wonderful find. The property is a gem located in a quiet cul-de-sac away from the hustle and bustle of the beach condo/high rise scene. We had a large group (10 adults, with four seniors), but it felt like the house could hold many more without feeling overcrowded. The view of the gulf was wonderful and we we especially fond of watching the wildlife, including our own red fox, playing in the dunes nearby. Egrets and other shore birds were plentiful as well. Short walk to the beach, and a nice hike (under 2 miles) to Fort Morgan (a fascinating fortress from the 1800s with lots of Civil War history). The beaches were quiet and uncrowded, and very, very clean. Lots of birding and numerous dolphins spotted while we were there! Neighbors could not have been friendlier, and were former St. Louisans or had St. Louis connections (which is our hometown). The elevator was a great help for the seniors in the group, and for those of us on the top floor (who didn't have to carry our bags up 3 flights of steps). Plenty of parking for the four cars we brought. The kitchen was fully equipped and allowed us to do some nice (but simple) cooking while there, with more than adequate space for a sit down dinner in the living room/family room area. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and truly made this an easy rental from start to finish. Everything they promised was delivered and the home itself was in very good condition. If you want lots of action and excitement in your beach experience, this is not the place. If you want a quiet and restful experience, we highly recommend this rental. For the price, it can't be beat.

  We have spent the month of November at this great beach house for the past 4 years. A great location for Fall fishing. Great dining can be found within a short distance. The house is very well decorated and the owners have been great to work with. The property is clean and well maintained. Plenty of covered parking and the beach is a short walk away. We would recommend this "vacation get-away" to anyone who desires a superior location for your famile and friends.

  We spent a fabulous week at this wonderful, spacious house. The rooms were all very comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. The rooms with the twin beds were very helpful as we had 6 children in our group. This was the first time we have taken a large family (3 generations) vacation and this house was big enough to easily accommodate all of us. The walk to the beach was not a bad distance at all. We did not use the pool as much as I thought we would but I did observe that there were always people in the pool. One afternoon we took a short ride over to Ft. Morgan and toured that facility. Another day the women and children rode the ferry over to Dauphin Island and had a pleasant trip there taking advantage of the local public transportation and a great local restaurant. Back to the house, when we got there, it was very clean and cool. The pictures on the website really did not do the house justice. It was better than expected and really larger than expected. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of our meals while we were there. The outside shower was great for washing off the sand before going into the house. I have already recommended this house to friends and family and will probably stay here again in the future. Great owners and great, beautiful area. Could not have asked for a better vacation spot.

  We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out and the amenties were just as you described. We set up our tent and beach chairs on the beach and were able to enjoy the entire sunny week. I will definately recommend this home to my friends and family.

  I stayed at this house with my daughters and my nieces from Louisiana; I came in from North Carolina. The house was wonderful, everything was picture perfect. The house was well cleaned, spacious and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable too. The layout was excellent, lots of space! Everything you would need was provided. The large shower is to die for and so was the whirlpool tub. We visited Waterville, the Tanger Outlets, Walmart and even drove down to Orange Beach and did a dolphin tour. Enjoyed the pool, the spa, and the beach where the chairs are already provided for you. The water temperature of the pool and the beach was great. We ate at the Oyster House and the food and service was excellent. I highly recommend this house for any vacation. Looking forward to returning again. The owners were great, good people to work with; kind and considerate. Didn't have to contact them at all after arriving because everything was PERFECT! Just should have gotten the elevator; recommend for anyone over 50. Thanks again Krista my girls had the best time ever.

  I stayed at this wonderful house a few weeks ago with my sisters and their children. It was warm and relaxing, with a little walk to the beach. I could not have asked for anything better! The home was everything that we expected, clean and well maintained. The owners were helpful and provided all the info that we needed. Thanks for allowing us to experience your wonderful home!
