This comfortable post and beam cottage, with it's lower open floor plan, provides all the amenities of home in the quiet setting of the western Maine lake country. A bumper pool table will entertain for hours. Recreational opportunities abound in the area. Thompson Lake holds the Maine State record for Largemouth Bass at 8 pounds. Activities such as hiking, biking, sailing, swimming, fishing, paddling, shopping or just taking a nap are close at hand.
Beautifully landscaped grounds feature 100 feet of rolling lawn from the house to the water. Numerous perennial gardens surround the property. Loons are regular visitors to our cove. Although not predictable, we have enjoyed visits on the property from Moose, Deer, Wild Turkeys, Otters, Fox and of course, raccoons and a host of other little critters.
