Parkfairfax is a historical garden community, designed by an English architect around 1940, to help with the housing crisis in Washington D.C. which was created by the war. The close proximity to the Pentagon and Washington D.C. were crucial to it’s success. Over the years, many high level government officials have lived here, including 2 presidents, Gerald Ford and Richard Nixon. The area now carries historic zoning regulations and the gardens and homes are immaculately maintained.
