Master Bedroom: Mum & Dad get to sleep in the Captains Quarters;

This home was built in 2000, on a double WATERFRONT lot, and has three sunny private balconies at the rear facing the lagoon, with hot tub, panorama views, and privacy. (Please ask for additional photos of this area to be e-mailed to you.) Please note we do not have a dock.

For summer bookings; Bring your canoe, raft or use our 'pedal boat' for tons of fun in the sun. Step out of the sliding door and on to the deck (shaped like the bow of a boat) then across 40 feet of level ground to the lagoon.
Adjacent to the sailing lagoon (We do not have a boat dock) But we do have magnificent views and reflections from every room and both decks and Hot Tub . Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Keys
We chose this location because of the magnificent views of the water and mountains - the back of our home has southern exposure, it's private and sunny with a large rear lawn for children to romp on.
The four seasons are so delightfully different it is like owning property in four places. We delight in all the outdoor activites right here on our doorstep. WINTER is SKI Season and we adore our WINTER WONDERLAND! It's magic esspecially at Christmas & New Year. SPRING is lovely but is off season so we have special rates. SUMMER is AMAZING here - Its warm and sunny but seldom more than 80 degrees, with cool nights - There so much you can do here on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe - You will be overwhelmed with choices - AUTUMN is our favorite time of year - The colors are magnificent - Indian Summer always takes our breath away. The snow starts to fall soon after Halloween - then the Christmas lights and decorations go up and it's HAPPY HOLIDAYS all over again!!!!
The Unique Benefits at this Luxury Waterfront Home
Our home is mostly rented by extended families - We took delight in designing 3 unique areas of seperate living space - 3 decks - and lots of open lawn for fun and games together. Above the garage we have a self contained unit of 545 sq ft (also counted as the 4th bedroom) this is perfect for Grand Parents - a place to call their own when they want peace and quiet.
WE also rent JUST the Studio Unit while we are in residence in Spring and Fall - Ideal for a couple and can also accomadate 2 small chilren as well. $110 a night plus 10% tax - no cleaning fee, no Security Deposit.

My husband and I grew up in New Zealand and moved to California with our 3 sons in 1980 - New Zealand is a wonderful land to visit - but the awesome beauty & climate of the High Sierra Mountains has kept us "Spell Bound" for the last 30 years! We finally built our Dream Home in "TAHOE KEYS RESORT" in 2000. We have enjoyed every day we have lived here and love to share our home with others also. During the summer we usally travel to New Zealand to visit friends and family while the house is rented and at other times of the year we explore different areas of our lives. This works well for us - our friends call us "NOMADS"

EXPLAINATION FROM OWNER; Mostly we rent the "whole house" but when we are in residence we occasionally rent the Mother in Law unit as a B & B SUITE. This is a great way to check out the property proir to booking the whole house - that is, if you don't live too far away!
