FOUR BEDROOMS ARE ALL UPSTAIRS INCLUDING a self- contained STUDIO UNIT - which is part of the house rental. Featuring one queen bed, and bath. Sitting room with (full sized) sofa bed with innerspring matteress. Kitchenette and private deck. Also 3 additional bedrooms - 2 Queens, and 1 Bunk room that the kids LOVE!
You will think you are on a cruise until you step off the deck! Then it's 40 ft of level lawn to the edge of the lagoon where the peddle boat waits for the explorers to board. Come meet our beaver.
This place has space for everyone to relax & enjoy - Three seperate living areas gives you space for TV & games or quiet conversations.
This home was built in 2000, on a double WATERFRONT lot, and has three sunny balconies at the rear facing the lagoon. Relax with a drink and watch the sun set behind Mt Tallac. Under the clear night sky enjoy a soak in the hot tub on the upstairs deck - daytime and twylight - watch the wildlife, Ducks, Geese, Beaver, coyotys and the occasional Bear. Panorama views, for mile.
Please note we do not have a boat dock on the lagoon at the rear of our property.

Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Keys
We chose this location because of the magnificent views of the water and mountains - the back of our home has southern exposure, it's private and sunny with a large rear lawn for children to romp on.
The four seasons are so delightfully different it is like owning property in four different climates. We delight in all the outdoor activites right here on our doorstep. WINTER is SKI Season and we adore our WINTER WONDERLAND! It's magic esspecially at Christmas & New Year. SPRING is lovely but is off season so we have special rates. SUMMER is AMAZING here - Its warm and sunny but seldom more than 80 degrees, with cool nights - There so much you can do here on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe - You will be overwhelmed with choices - AUTUMN is our favorite time of year - The colors are magnificent - Indian Summer always takes our breath away. The snow starts to fall soon after Halloween - then the Christmas lights and decorations go up and it's HAPPY HOLIDAYS all over again!!!!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is mostly rented by extended families in the summer - We took delight in designing 3 unique areas of seperate living space - 3 decks - and lots of open lawn for fun and games together. Above the garage we have a self contained unit of 545 sq ft (also counted as the 4th bedroom) this is perfect for Grand Parents - a place to call their own when they want peace and quiet.
During the snow season we usually have groups of 10 responsible skiers and boards who prefer a home enviroment to hotel accomadation. They often take advantage of out 3 night special for $980 + 10% tax....
WE also rent JUST the Studio Unit in off season while we are in residence in Spring and Fall - Ideal for a couple and can also accomadate 2 small chilren as well. $110 a night plus 10% tax - no cleaning fee, no Security Deposit.
Some of the best SNOW in USA less than 6 miles away.......

My husband and I grew up in New Zealand and moved to California with our 3 sons in 1980 - New Zealand is a wonderful land to visit - but the awesome beauty & climate of the High Sierra Mountains has kept us "Spell Bound" for the last 30 years! We finally built our Dream Home in "TAHOE KEYS RESORT" in 2000. We have enjoyed every day we have lived here and love to share our home with others also. During the summer we usually travel to New Zealand to visit friends and family while the house is rented and at other times of the year we explore different areas of our lives. This works well for us - our friends call us "NOMADS"

We loved our family Thanksgiving in Bernice and Neil's home. Bernice was always available throughout the entire process, and the sweetest lady. Thank you Bernice!!! The home was so perfect for our group...4 1/2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, 3 seperate TV/visit areas and that enormous kitchen and dining area with seating for 8 was wonderful for board games and meals...We have rented many Tahoe homes over the years and this was unquestionably the "BEST"......Big yard along the water was an added treat!!

This property worked out very well for us as we were three couples and some kids. Very centrally located and close to all the South Tahoe resorts. The pictures provided on the listing show the property exactly as it is. Very well maintained, clean and appointed. The owners are excellent in answering any questions regarding the property. I would recommend this property for a family or group of couples, an excellent get away!

Your property was absolutely gorgeous and we loved the vistas as well as all the amenities you provided! I would love to stay in this property during winter just to see the snow falling whilst lying in the hot tub - perhaps we will come in winter next time! Your home was just wonderful for everyone in our family. The kids loved running around the large grass area. The adults loved the beautiful sunsets over the water each night. The house is immaculate with every possible detail thought of by our landlord. It is obvious that ths house is a special place to Bernice as well. She is a wonderful host, and this is a wonderful home!

We had a great time at your home! Our group consisted of couples and singles and the accomodations worked well for us. Everyone on the trip commented on how nice the home was. We did get to the casinos, but most nights fixed a great dinner and played games around the table. Thank you for your hospitality. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Ah Hoy Mates! We enjoyed our voyage on your cruise. It was First Class! The galley was fully equipped. The boat was Rockin! The mates were comfortable in their cabins. Bernice, I just wanted to send you an e-mail after our week in your home last week. We had an absolutely wonderful time and your home certainly facilitated that! It worked out perfectly for sleeping, eating and visiting quarters. We so enjoyed hanging out together and being able to take advantage of many of the area's spectacular natural wonders.
