Former model home in one of the best communities in Corolla. This professionally decorated home has been meticulously maintained.
NEW IN 2010 - the left side of the duplex will be closed for the summer as we are making it a private residence. As we vacation there in the offseason, you can rent this side (the right side) of the duplex during the summer months (June, July, August) and be assured you will not have adjoining occupancy. Past updates include: 2009 - new flooring in the 1st level den, fresh paint throughout, new cooking range, and new front deck furntiture; 2008 - dining room and living room furniture, heating and air conditioning units with variable speed air handler for extra quiet operation, dishwasher, and new carpet throughout upper living area and stairways; 2007 - granite countertops, marble backsplashes, washer and dryer, and bamboo floors.
All linens and kitchen utensils are provided - all you need to bring is your sunscreen, bathing suit and food (grocery store is short walk across the street).
Sleeps 9. One King, one Queen, two bedrooms with twin beds, and a convertible sleeper sofa in den. No infant crib available in home.
Buck Island is a private gated community with some of the most beautiful landscaping to be found on the Outer Banks. You literally do not need a car when you stay in our home. You can walk on the tree lined sidewalk to the beach! Or head west and cross the road to shop and dine in the Timbuk II shopping center. Or take advantage of the community pool and facilities available to only Buck Island guests.
If you want to have a relaxing vacation this is the place. There are also many interesting sights and activities to partake in on the northern beaches (Corolla Light, Whalehead Club, wild horse sightings) or travel south to Kitty Hawk, Nags Head and Roanoke Island where endless recreational activities await you.
