Former model home in one of the best communities in Corolla. This professionally decorated home has been meticulously maintained.
The left side of the duplex was closed in 2010 and is maintained solely as a private residence utilized by the owners in the off-season. You will be renting the right side of the duplex with a high proababilty that the private residence will be empty during the summer months of June, July, and August.. Recent upgrades (for 2012) include - new main deck teak furniture, new sofa and ottomans for the den, new gas grill. Other updates made in past three years include new hot tub, side-by-side refrigerator, bedroom carpet, draperies, new hardwood flooring, fresh paint throughout, new cooking range, new front deck furntiture, dining room and living room furniture, heating and air conditioning units, dishwasher, new carpet throughout upper living area and stairways, granite countertops, marble backsplashes, washer and dryer.
All linens and kitchen utensils are provided - all you need to bring is your sunscreen, bathing suit and food (grocery store is short walk across the street).
Sleeps 8. One King, one Queen, two bedrooms with twin beds. No infant crib available in home - only a pack-n-play.
Buck Island is a private gated community with beautiful landscaping and manicured grounds. You literally do not need a car when you stay in our home. You can walk on the tree lined sidewalk to the beach! Or head west and cross the road to shop and dine in the Timbuk II shopping center or go north across Albacore Street to Monteray Plaza where you will find more shops and the Food Lion. Or take advantage of the resrot style community amenities such as the Olympic sized pool, tennis courts, cabana house, private beach boardwalk, etc., available exclusively to Buck Island Guests only..
If you want to have a relaxing vacation this is the place. There are also many interesting sights and activities to partake in on the northern beaches such as the Corolla Lighthouse, Whalehead Club, wild horse sightings or travel south to Kitty Hawk, Nags Head and Roanoke Island where endless recreational activities await you.

Corolla is less comercialized and quiet, but our location enjoys the convenience of nearby shopping and restaurants.
