Located right off the boardwalk with access to the Girdwood Center for Visual Arts, the Bake Shop, famous for their breakfast & soup. The Java Haus, which has internet and WI-FI, as well as organic espresso and sweet treats! You are also minutes from the Sitzmark Bar & Grill, featuring live music on weekends during the ski season. For a nicer meal walk a few hundred feet to Jack Sprat, featuring "fat and lean cuisine."
If visiting in the summer meander through the enchanting rainforest. Hike or bike on nearby trails. Pick blueberries and salmon berries just a few minutes hike up Mt. Alyeska during August.
If winter suits you, ski to the lifts from your front door, snowshoe Winner Creek Trail or cross-counrty ski through Moose Meadows. Truly a unique Alaskan experience!
