The incredible cultural and arts center of Salvador is only a 45 minute drive down the well built and maintained "coconut highway" or "Linha Verde", and you are only 3 miles from the famous Praia Do Forte eco-resort town and the World Wildlife Federation "Tamar Project" where sea turtles of several types are on display.
There are wonderful shops, restaurants, and "watering holes" there for every taste. Only a short 5 miles further is the game reserve and nature park at Imbasi. Brazil's largest tourist/resort complex of Costa Do Sauipe is less than a 15 minute drive from the house as well.
