Come to Wildwood Cottage, put your feet up, relax and enjoy Leelanau County at it's best. We are centrally located within the county and close to many enticing villages, wineries, restuarants and activities.
So see the Sleeping Bear Dunes, hike or bike the trails. Puddle about in the rowboat on peaceful Lake Leelanau. Or see tour the many, many wineries in the county. No matter where you go you will see our beautiful countryside views and villages.
Wildwood Cottage is on 2 1/2 acres in the heart of Leelanau County’s vacation paradise. The cottage is new and you can be our guest on our lake front lot - just a short stroll down the private drive. The cottage has two bedrooms, a large loft with its own full bath and a well-equipped eat-in kitchen. Cathedral ceilings and a large covered porch complete this comfortable get away. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen sized bed and the other with two twins. The full size bed in the large loft makes roomy sleeping for six. There is a full bath upstairs and down. Linens can be provided for an additional charge.
Outside, you will enjoy the fire pit, large picnic table, and charcoal grill. There is a large grassy area around the cottage - great for outside games - and a sand box for the small ones. The Lake Leelanau frontage has a hard sand bottom and starts out shallow. Just right for swimming and wading. Tied to the 24 foot dock is a 14-foot rowboat ready for fishing or just enjoying the beauty of the lake. Be sure to bring your life preservers. Located halfway between the villages of Lake Leelanau and Cedar gives you easy access to the counties many attractions.
Rentals during July and August are weekly only, Saturday to Saturday. For other months we are very flexible. The cottage is open for rental from April through October. Please contact us for more information about the cottage or our beautiful county.
