We had the most amazing vacation. Wonderful staff that is there to treat you like royalty. We loved the country and the people, always felt safe The greatest thing was to sit on the balcony every morning drinking coffee and listening to the Howler monkeys waking up, the huge blue jays sitting on the rail waiting for a morsel and the sun rising over the ocean. A vacation I will never forget. Rach T

I just want everyone who had anything to do with my stay in Costa Rica to know how wonderful it was! The villas and country are way more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!! The staff at De La Paz and Cascada were awesome!! They always had a smile on their face and were ready to do anything and everything they could to make sure that my stay was everything one could hope of a vacation! There aren't even words to describe how great the food was!! (I think that was my favorite part!!) The tour on the Don Bosco was one of my favorites!! But I had just as much fun on the tour to Nicaragua seeing the country, volcanoes, and feeding the monkeys!!! The Waterfall Canopy Tour was fantastic!! Riding the horses up the mountain then riding the zip line all the way down through the rainforest was a better experience than I ever thought it could be!! It was beautiful!! The mud bath was so much fun and getting in the hot spring pools was very refreshing!! I would highly recommend all of these tours to anyone who visits this place!! Like I said, my trip was more amazing than anything I ever imagined and I am already counting down the days to my trip back!!! I can't wait to see and do so much more!! Thank you so much to everyone who took part in making this the best vacation I have ever had!!!

Thank you Pam, it could not have been more perfect all thanks to you and your fabulous staff. And our family have not all been together on a trip in years due to my daughter who lives in Atlanta, works for the CDC and travels international and spends 85 percent of her time in Africa and other needy parts of the world... So it was a real treat for us all adults to be together..next time our grandgirls can join us as well. I will be highly recommending your place to many of my most reliable friends and we hope to go back, thanks again, so very much. p.s. I highly recommend at least 13 ziplines for anyone turning 6-0 what a KICK to do on your day!!!

Just wanted to say thank you. What a wonderful villa, perfect for a medium to large family vacation. I can not praise your wonderful staff enough. Yvette is an amazing cook, and we loved her Costa Rican food. Many times when we were out and about in the country and ate out in some rather nice restaurants, when we were done, we often thought that we would have rather eaten at home with Yvette.Bernal is funny, energetic and very helpful. He is a great bartender; you must try his Pina Colada. He is also very eager to learn; especially when it comes to drinks he does not know. I had a lot of fun showing him how to make a “Mud Slide”. I think Inez is magic, clothes are washed, rooms are cleaned, beds are made, and I never saw her come or go, even those days when we stayed mostly about the house. She is so honest, I must have left some money in my pants, it wasn't much, I wouldn't have missed it, but there it was sitting on top of folded laundry. I must not forget Jonathon, who made our expedition arrangements. We had Jose and his driver for a tour guide. Their English is excellent and they have a great sense of humor. The tours were a lot of fun, without being too expensive. I particularly enjoyed being able to tailor the tours to our own interest. They will spoil you, almost to the point of embarrassment. You have put together an excellent staff. I know from experience how hard that is to do. My complements”! They are great.

“I was so pleased with my recent visit (July 5-July 12) to Costa Rica. Not only was the trip fantastic, with the gorgeous country and friendly people of Costa Rica, but the accommodations at Villa De La Paz was top notch. I have never experienced this magnitude of service. Your staff was courteous, friendly and incredible treating our group like royalty. The Villa is richly decorated with a very inviting atmosphere. The view is incredible. The local cuisine prepared by your staff was superb. Whether you are there to relax, go sight seeing, or party like a rock star, this is the place to be. I am recommending this vacation to everyone and I am a definite return customer. You have won me over. I can't think of anything that could have made this trip better. Thanks again for the warm hospitality. This experience has truly enriched my life and made memories that will last throughout my lifetime. Can't wait to see you again”.

I just wanted to say thanks for letting us stay at your Villa. It was the best vacation we have ever had. The Villa was outstanding. The staff there was amazing. The food Mama cooked was amazing. We told them many times we wish we could bring them home with us J The Villa was so clean thanks to Iris. Bernard did a fabulous job with the drinks. There are a lot of people wanting to see our pictures. I might have to charge you a referral fee J Seriously though, we had a fabulous time there.

Our vacation to Villa Paz was the best we’ve ever had! The Villa was absolutely beautiful and we were so impressed with the attention to detail that was given to make the Villa a home away from home for your guests. The staff was incredible. They were eager to please and even paid close attention to our likes & dislikes. I love iced tea in the mornings, so I asked for hot tea and then I poured it over ice. They took notice and I was surprised the next morning when they made me a glass of iced tea!! Bernal was great. We really enjoyed practicing our Spanish with him, and I think he appreciated practicing his English with us! He would surprise us with special tropical drinks that were always delicious! Jonathan was also fantastic. We felt well taken care of whenever we left the Villa for an excursion. The transportation was always clean, air conditioned, and most importantly – we always felt very safe! Our visit was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation! We had a blast on the Canopy Tour! The next day we pampered ourselves with pool-side massages! They were heavenly! We truly felt like VIPs on this vacation. We can’t wait to return!!! Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!

Costa Rica, especially the Pacific cost, is one of the most beautiful places in the world. One tour we took was on the ‘Don Bosco,’ a sail boat that took us to a nearby island. The crew fixed us lunch, a great chicken and beef shish-kabobs, and Bernie came along to make sure we had plenty of liquid refreshment. We also took a tour to Nicaragua to see the big lake east of Managua, all the wonderful houses built on small islands, the friendly monkeys, and a great lunch. Then we went to see an active volcano. Really scary looking!! Looks like miles of solid lava from the last time the volcano erupted! At that location we saw an inactive volcano that was full of water that formed a huge lake. The shopping was reasonable and the pottery is delicate and beautiful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, and we always felt safe. The last day of our trip we went shopping and sightseeing in Coco Beach. There are some beautiful shops with local merchandise and reasonable prices. There are galleries with local artists featured. We had a great time and all of wished we could stay longer! I plan to go back and take our whole family!!
