Relaxing on the front porch of this charming bungalow, you will find the Manatee Bay to your right (with a shared dock) and the Gulf of Mexico to your left (with a beautiful beach), each only half-a-block away! This "Old Florida style" home is located at the narrow, quiet Southern end of Anna Maria Island. Sip coffee at sunrise on the dock, watch the dolphins and manatees, and catch your dinner (one of our recent guests caught a 14-lb redfish right off our dock!). Tie up your boat there (or a rental boat from the marina nearby) and enjoy FREE DOCKAGE. Stroll barefoot to catch sunsets on our "local" section of the beach, which is seldom crowded (most beachgoers gather at the public beach down the road).

With a huge screened porch in front and a large deck in the back yard, your home-away-from-home is ideal for outdoor living. There is even an extra shower outside (with hot water)! We offer all the comforts of home, including cable-TV and internet.

Boasting a plaque from the Anna Maria Island Historical Society, this vintage frame bungalow ...built in 1949 and lovingly renovated ... has a tin roof, a clawfoot bathtub, stained-glass in many windows, and lots of antique furnishings. Our latest remodeling project was upgrading the kitchen with new appliances and tile floor, and providing new carpet in the bedrooms and living room. The yard is fully fenced and lushly landscaped. The area is very quiet and many of the neighbors are full-time residents whom we have known for 25 years. ***THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY, STRICTLY ENFORCED***

I have stayed in this lovely bungalow three times in the past five years. It changed ownership last summer, and the new owner is using a rental agency now (the new phone number on the listing will be answered by Coastal Cottages AMI, not directly by the new owner). Christie and Ellie at Coastal Cottages AMI are the best property managers ever! Also, they have kept the price here the same as it was under the previous ownership, which gives you the best value on the Island. You get a whole house (with dock) for less than the price of a single hotel room in Bradenton Beach! I'll be back!

Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

It seems too long ago since my family and I enjoyed your wonderful home this past December. I wanted to share with you how much we loved the bungalow, its great location, and the comfortable decorating and appointments. We all felt relaxed and quite at home and this was only possible because of how you have thought of every detail needed. You have been so thoughtful in how you have taken care to see that everything needed is available and providing a relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of big city life for your guests on Anna Maria Island. I was indeed fortunate in finding your hidden treasure on the internet. It does not always work that way.
