Escape in time to the charm and tranquility of old San Juan Island, located at the end of White Point near Roche Harbor. This is a true old-style San Juan experience with all the modern amenities. With an enchanting Scandinavian-style cabin and farmhouse-style guest house nestled in along the shores with view of Garrison Bay, British Camp, and Westcott Bay, this property is the perfect escape.

The main cabin is just steps from the water’s edge. The main living area has an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining nook, and living room all along the waterside of house for unobstructed views from every angle. The room is divided by a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. This cabin has one bedroom, one bathroom, and loads of charm. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or used with the guest house for a family retreat.

The charming guest house, set back just slightly from the main cabin, was built in 2006. It has a master bedroom, a bunk room with 4 built-in twin beds, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. There are picturesque views of the water from each room, and the large (screened) windows and skylights let the sunlight pour in from every angle. The cabin has in-floor radiant heat.

Both the cabin and the guest house have flat screen tvs, dvd/vcr player, and CD players with I-Pod adaptors. Complimentary high speed wireless internet connection available for use. Together, the houses sleep 6-8 comfortably, with a maximum party of 8 allowed.

With a hammock outside in the yard, and clamming at the medium bank sandy beach, this charming waterfront cabin is the perfect place to enjoy summer. Mooring buoy use available at no extra charge.

Besides just relaxing, San Juan Island offers whale watching, kayaking, sailing, hiking, and much more. This property is a twenty minute drive from Friday Harbor and walking distance to Roche Harbor Village and the Westcott Bay Sculpture Park.

  • A wonderful spot. Very child friendly location with easily accesible and watchable beach. Wonderful wildlife from deer and fox on land, to blue heron in sky and seals in the water. Cookware and servingware are among the best we've had in rental accommodations. Owner checked in on us via phone to make sure all was well. Great proximity to Roche Harbor on walkable backroads. Initially apprehensive about 2 structures, but worked out great for kids to have a separate play area or quiet spot. Also, good internet access and Satellite TV if you don't totally want to be removed from outside world. Highly recommend.

  • This is a magical place. We stayed with our four & seven yr old children & it was the perfect spot. We spent hours at the beach, saw deer, had a cozy fire in the evening, BBQ'd, & easily visited the islands charming Roche & Friday Harbors. The two bldgs make it perfect for kids to have a play to play & sleep and adults can entertain in the main cabin. This is a truly lovely & peaceful spot. We can't wait to come back!
