Karen could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The condo is right across the street from the bay. Pool and hot tub were great, but the game room could use some updating! The bed in the second bedroom was rather hard - but we would certainly stay here again. It is lovingly decorated with all the amenities you could ask for.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We were lucky enough to be able rent this condo over memorial weekend. It was lovely, so relaxing and peaceful. The condo was in the perfect location for shops and restuarants and just across the road from the beach. It's very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable, my husband had the best nights sleep he'd had in a long time. The condo had everything we could possibly need, we almost wished the weather wasn't so good so that we could explore the movie, games and book collections more. We had great weather though so were able to take long walks on the beach, we went swimming in the club house, played table tennis, there was more to do than we had time for in a weekend. The last night we watched the sunset at the state park while roasting hot dogs and marshmallows on the fire. Made it very difficult to return home and we can't wait to take a break there again.

The perfect condo for the weekend! As comfortable and clean as our own home. The condo was well stocked with movies and games for kids, the kitchen had every accessory you could need. The beach could be seen thru the back slider and was close enough our two girls could go by themselves. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the home was nicely decorated. We were very pleased with the condo and will definitely be back!

The photos of the condo are exactly as we found it. Very clean, comfortable, well organized, and updated furnishings. The location was just right and we really enjoyed our mini family reunion. The indoor pool was a great bonus as well. We would most definitely recommend this particular condo and will hopefully be back for a visit in the future.

We stayed at the condo from 7/05/09-7/11/09. We had a wonderful time. Had room for everyone. Brought our 2 sons aged 3 & 1. They loved being right next to the beach. We could look outside the window to see where the tide was at. Great location and condo was very warm, clean and felt like home. Would receommend.

We spent 2 glorious weeks May 17-31 at Karen's condo. The weather was best we have had in Washington in 46+ years of travel. We enjoyed the condo, pool, tides and walks along the beach. We had a wonderful time in Birch Bay. The condo was charming and had every amenity one could need. We used the pool and hot tub daily. We drove around and checked out local areas. We felt rejuvenated when we left. We are already planning a return visit!

Karen and Mike- Thank you for such a lovely condo. The accomodations were perfect for the four of us to visit with our sons in Bellingham. It was nicely furnished with everything that we needed for our visit. We also were able to do some "MOM" cooking while we were there, so the boys had plenty of food for the freezer. Karen, thank you so very much for letting us stay at your condo. It is just what the doctor ordered for everyone before the wedding. We all had a wonderful time. Condo was the perfect size and in a peaceful location. I know all the girls enjoyed walking on the beach in the evening. We even found a jellyfish on a log. The girls were so excited. The condo was a wonderful place to relax, and enjoy being together. It is set up for kids, with video games, videos, DVD's, board games, and beach toys, etc. Situated right across the street from the beach, it was nice to be able to walk right out on the patio, and see if the tide was in or out. There is so much to do for families in Birch Bay, and the condo made it a comfortable stay. It is thoughtfully appointed, and full of wonderful beach-themed knick knacks that make you feel right at home.

We had a fabulous time staying at the condo in Birch Bay! There is a breathtaking view of the bay from the patio. The condo itself is very well decorated and fully equipped with just about anything you can think of. The indoor pool is one of the best we've ever used. It was very clean and surprisingly warm as well. There are many things to do nearby, but we chose to stay planted and enjoy lots of family time playing games, watching movies, swimming, and walking along the beach. We will definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family. We plan to stay in the condo again sometime soon.

My stay at this Birch Bay condo. was so pleasant and peaceful. All the amenities were near by, the community was friendly, and the condo was perfect for some R&R, the view was good, every necessity was provided and a great spa was just down the road. Super beach, not crowded when I was there. The condo owners were extremely pleasant and easy to work with. GREAT STAY. I plan to bring the grandkids back up. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful condo. We had 4 adults and 2 children, and had plenty of room. I was very pleased with how clean and updated your place was. All the movies and video games were a treat for the kids late at night. The pool, hot tub & raquetball were wonderful. The beach was just spectacular,low tide was waaaay out there. Loved that we could take a short walk to nice restaurants,the little grocery store, espresso, and liquor store. Driving down the road was so scenic and the State Park is right there at the end. Took my two children, 2 and 10 years old, to your property while my husband stayed home to recover from some minor surgery. It was a fantastic stay for us! The right amount of space, perfect little view to remind you that you're "at the beach", perfect little courtyard for the kids to run, and all of the amenities you can think of. The decor is so nice and fresh, and everything is exceptionally clean. We very much appreciated the collection of kids movies and toys. Thanks a bunch for sharing your space; we loved it!

Karen, My two sisters and I like to get away for a girls only week-end every once in a while and your condo worked out perfectly for us. We've stayed in Birch Bay before at other homes, but have to say we enjoyed your condo the most...great location, perfectly decorated for the beach and equipped just like home. We wouldn't suggest you change anything...perfect short get-a-way for those of us in the greater Seattle area.

Thanks for the use of your condo for the month of January, 2008. We enjoyed our stay even tho the weather was not good. Loved the flooring in the kitchen, etc. An added plus was that you could see the water from the living room sofa. We did miss the eagles this year but saw their nest and one eagle. We especially enjoy the pool. It is definitely a reason to return. Thanks again.

From the time we entered your lovely condo we felt a warm welcoming.Karen, the owner, had nice soft music and lights on.Everything that one would need is there. We would happily recommend this condo to any family. Our kids (5 and 8) were as delighted with it as we were. Everything seemed to have been thought of! Little items that you might not travel with, like sugar and oil, were in the cabinets. When we needed bandaids, they were already there in the bathroom. Maps of the local area were near the phone. Having a washer and dryer was terrific. We had a contest each day on the beach to see who could find the most attractive stones and shells. There were many great blue herons, but also scoters (3 species), harlequin ducks, and wading shorebirds. It was only 15 minutes to Bellingham, where we found the well-stocked natural and organic Food Co-op.

I grew up at the beach. It was great to come for a visit. My last visit was 20 years ago. There is a lot more to do. The condo was great and we enjoyed the view and location.

This was the first holiday my husband and I along with our two children(2 and4) had gone on in a long time. We couldn't have chosen a more beautful place to stay. From the beach decor to thetoys and videos for the kids, having everything you could possibly need right at your fingertips was so like being at home. We went go carting, shopping, walks and out for the best mexican food-right down the street- that we had ever had. Can't wait to come back next year!!!

Great family geteway! My wife and our 3 kids all had a great time. The condo is very well furnished: TV in each bedroom and livingroom, Playstation2 and original Nintendo game systems along with plenty of games, dvd player, vcr, many books, dvds and video tapes, extra towels, barbecue in the back, plenty of dishes - basically everything you could think of. The condo is right across the street from the bay, about 3 minutes from the waterslides, go-karts, and putt-putt golf, less than 10 minutes from the Peaceway Arch. All the neighbors were very quiet, and the kids had a great time in the pool - never too crowded! We had a great time and before the first day was over we all decided that this was going to have to be an annual event for us.

We really appreciated being able to get away for a short family vacation and stay in such a comfortable condo. Everything was so convenient. This is the best location for Birch Bay access and view. Also, the condo itself is extremely kid friendly as both my 1 and 3 year old stayed out of trouble with lots of toys, books and videos. This is a well-stocked rental as this owner thinks of everything. The beach itself is a hidden treasure for children. My little ones could just run around and play in the sand without worry because the water was so shallow and calm. THANK YOU!!!

The view from the living area was wonderful. To look out over the lovely grounds and see the Pacific while a fire was crackling was perfect! We brought our small dog and walking her was a treat - up/down the shore or just throughout the well-kept grounds. Have stayed in numerous rental properties and this one by far best stocked! Hi Karen, Thank you so much for the use of your Condo. It was really nice, we had a great time. We went clam digging, took a drive to the peace arch, walked the beach. Took a drive to semiahmoo. We are a family of 4 (2 kids, ages 7 & 10), and had a fabulous stay at the condo. We swam everyday in the pool (sometimes, we even had it to ourselves!), played on the beach, watched movies, rode our bicycles around Birch Bay State park, and generally hung out. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, and the condo is stocked with everything one would need to feel comfortable. It's a great getaway.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this condo over part of spring break. She had her two kids and I had my two kids. It was very comfortable, even for our large group. I have stayed at lots of condos, cabins etc. THis Condo had everything we could have imagined needing and/or wanting. Tons of videos and DVD's. The pool was great! The owners were really great to work with and make everything really easy and convenient for their guests. We will love to stay again!!!! Jennifer
