Surprisingly private and secluded yet only 8 minutes from Sandpoint is Pierce Lane Lodge on 5 acres and 320' of unbeatable beautiful Lake Pend Oreille frontage. Two levels allow for separate accommodations for two families to vacation together.
Between the lodge and the lake stretches flat green lawn, a private dock and a sandy gently sloping shoreline. The dock is long with a platform for sunbathing and swimming at the end. There is a private mooring buoy off the end of the dock for inclement weather boat storage. The view includes not only majestic Lake Pend Oreille but also Sandpoint, Schweitzer and surrounding mountains, peaceful evening sunsets and dark starry skies.
The 3300 sq ft retro lodge was built in 1950, was remodeled in the seventies and was updated spring 2007. It has a large lakeside living area and adjoining kitchen and dining area for the entire group to comfortably gather. Two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs allow for separate living quarters. A smaller lakeside living area for the older kids to retreat to is downstairs. Relax and enjoy at Pierce Lane Lodge.
We are waterfront! Swim, water ski and fish off the dock, sea kayak, jog, hike, mountain bike on the mountain behind the lodge, rollerblade or bike on the Sagle bike path to Sandpoint, play tennis at city beach, and more, right outside your door.
Just across the lake by boat or less then 8 minutes in the car you will find Sandpoint. Activities are endless! Boat rentals, shopping, galleries of local artists, fine and casual dining, city beach with a park and tennis courts, Starbucks, water sports, art and music festivals including the Festival at Sandpoint in August, and much more.
