  It was the perfect week for me. Relaxing and comfortable with all that I was looking for. I wanted to get away from it all, be able to bring my small dog, yet have the comforts of home, including the internet, and this rental had it all. I highly reccomend this cozy home.

  This chalet home was perfect for me, my husband and our two college-age kids. It was a very safe neighborhood and everyone was really friendly. It's also a very dog-friendly place and accessible to Lewes, Cape May and Rehoboth areas.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  I have stayed at this A frame twice now and been satisfied both times. The home is clean, comfortable and cozy with the needed amenities: Clean bed, good AC, 1.5 baths, kitchen with supplies. And there are some nice added features: Cable TV, A nice yard with a deck, BBQ. The home is small but does not feel cramped for a group of 4 - 6. Additionally the owner allows you to bring your furry loved ones along and this is a big deal to me! You are close to the beaches of Rehobeth and Lewes, about a 15 minute drive but there is affordable parking at both. The neighborhood has a nice little crabbing dog and a sizable pool and both are within walking distance of the home. The neighborhood has more of a quiet wooded feel than beachy which can be a nice escape when on vacation. The owner is friendly, helpful and responds quickly. This is important to me and I am sure to other renters. You can trust this owner to be a good communicator, deliver a nice home, and charge you fairly. Ultimately if you are seeking a simple home that is comfy and clean and near the beaches I would highly suggest this place. If you are looking for a high end place or to be walking distance to the beach I suggest opening your wallet a bit wider and paying more for a different rental. For us this has been perfect and we plan on returning many more times.

• Perfect getaway house!

  This is a cozy cottage in a quiet residential neighborhood. Easy walking access to the community pool and crabbing dock. An easy 10 minute drive to Lewes or Rehoboth. While it will sleep 6, I would recommend this cottage for no more than 4 (unless you know each other REAL well!) My husband and I were here a week and always at the end of the day, it was relaxing to return to this quiet spot.

  Owner response: I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! For benefit of future renters, the house has a master BR with queen bed, upstairs BR with twin beds, and there is an open loft area in front of the upstairs BR that has a double bed. So the house will sleep 6 in beds but those staying upstairs on the loft will not have a private room with a door.

  this home was perfect for a family of five, which we have and great for animal lovers, plenty of room too walk the dog and whatever else you wanted to do,everything was only minutes away but the home is in the quietest development, would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful vacation, the place was clean and had what we needed to eat in house, not a real big place but nice and cozy............

  I can't express how thrilled we were with this house and the location! It was convenient to everything, yet far enough away from it all that we could actually relax. The house was well stocked and anything that we needed was there. The neighborhood is pet and child friendly, as we were always seeing people walking dogs and kids riding bikes. An excellent value for the money! Thanks Jim and Adele!

  This is great little place that was perfect for our mother/daughters vacation this year. The location is nice and quiet yet very close to the shopping and summertime activities of the beach scene.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing.

  It was a great place i would stay at the house again. Every thing you need is at the house. It is just a very at home feeling. It is great place to start off a long shopping trip.
