Our home is a charming, traditional Chincoteague house that is overlooking the channel and it's beautiful sunsets. The four bedroom house is spacious, comfortable, light-filled, and clean. It has a large living room and dining room, enclosed front and side porches, fully equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms. The house is nicely furnished with a combination of new and antique furniture. Features include: ceiling fans and AC, satelite TV, DVD player, VCR, CD and tape players, Weber charcoal grill, large yard, and outside shower. It is equiped for young children and has both a crib and high chair. Smoke free house. Sorry, no pets.
The house is available year round and can be rented for partial weeks off-season at lower rates. Come to enjoy the beautiful Assateague National Seashore with the famous wild ponies, undeveloped beaches, wetlands, and nature bicycle trails. There are so many things to do -- boating, fishing, crabbing, clamming, kayaking, biking, birdwatching, and, of course, relaxing on the beach. The small town of Chincoteague has a movie theatre, restaurants specializing in seafood, and cute shops. Come and see for yourself!

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$1050 per week during high season for 6 or less people. Additional people are $25 per person per week; maximum 8 people. High season is Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. Lower rates and partial week rentals available off season. Partial weeks also may be available for last minute rental. Linens can be provided for an extra fee.

Wonderful Week, Right on Main Street, LOVED OUR STAY!!

We just returned on Saturday from a weeks stay. The pictures on this property do not do it justice, the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen are just purfect. The dining room and living room are just the right size to accomodate a larger group. The current owners are helpful and very detailed oriented! I had asked to use their boogie boards, and they were sure to accomodate even this little request. I have to admit, I was very concerned, being that there were no reviews prior to booking, the fact that the pony penning week was still available, and the owners didnt have an actual 'contract' like other rentals I have been to, but I was pleasantly surprised! We honestly could not have had a better week! The weather was great, no bugs! and awesome accomodations!! We had a large group that fit the house without anyone feeling like they didn't have their own space. I want to thank VRBO, and most importantly, the owners, for great memories from a great vacation!! We will be back!!
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
