There is a charming boardwalk outside your front door which, will lead you to the Seal Beach Pier. If you decide to go on a nice leisurely walk, the pier is about four blocks down, where you will come accross some of the best seafood in California, delicious bakeries, and authentic Mexican food. If you're looking to do a little shopping, you will come to find quite a few boutiques and shops along the way.
Don't miss the phenomena of the Grunion Run!
Each spring and summer from March through August thousands of fish (grunion) come to the shore to spawn in Seal Beach for four consecutive nights starting the nights of the full and new moon. Spawning begins after high tide and continues for several hours.
The only problem you might encounter on this vacation is leaving!

We had a wonderful time at this modern, upstairs apartment. Everything clean, beds comfortable. Have stayed here three years running and would recommend it. It has the small town feel of a seaside village, you can walk to town in 5 minutes - good restaurants, pubs and very pleasant locals.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
