Experience living on the beach with the never ending changing ocean. Fire Island is an unique island situated between the Atlantic Ocean and The Great South Bay. One minute you can be bodysurfing in the ocean and the next minute you can be windsurfing on the bay. The bay is also great for clamming and crabbing. The beach is great for finding beautiful shells and seaglass. The spectacular part of Fire Island is that there are no cars only wagons. You can hire a boat to go to the different communities on the island.

The community of Davis Park has a great entertainment day and night at the Bar and Restaurant "The Casino" located right on the beach with a rap around deck for eating, drinking, and entertainment.

National Seashore Park is located a couple miles down the beach and has an incredible bird sanctuary. There is an amazing boardwalk nature trail through marshlands.

The Harbor Store is a grocery store for all of your needs. There is also a snack bar and liquor store in the same location.

A great playground for children is located at the marina with swings and a slide.
