It would be our pleasure to have you as our guests at our 2005 built "beachhouse" on Long Lake (500 acre all sports lake). Our smoke free cottage has a view of water from every window. Our very large deck is great for sitting in the sun or sitting under the stars at night. The outdoor speakers are great any time!
We call our cottage the "beachhouse", because of the bright beach décor throughout the house. The sandy beach and shallow sandy bottom is great for kids! Our beachhouse is located on the North side of the lake, so the southern exposure is very nice, and there is always a calming breeze.
The beachhouse has a full open kitchen area with sit up bar, a family room, a propane fireplace, two bedrooms, finished walk-out basement with full sleeping arrangements, pull out couch in family room and air mattress.
Long Lake is excellent for fishing off your boat or our dock. Swimming is great, boating is perfect. Long Lake also has a large sandbar, which is also very nice for swimming. Ausable river is just minutes away, where you can canoe, raft, or ride the river boat. Tawas is also very close, and offers restaurants, shopping, movies, and beautiful Lake Huron.
