This is our second visit. Very nicely equipped with quality furniture etc. Feels like a resort when you walk in the door. Location is wonderful if you like low density and being able to take a very short walk east to Seashore Nation Park. Great reasonable priced restaurants with water/sunset views nearby.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Hi Wayne and Mary :)))) It was so hard to leave your condo on Saturday morning....we absolutely LOVED everything about it!! It was all we hoped for and even more. Your condo is beautiful and so well stocked. We cooked all our meals there except for one night that we went to Lamberts to celebrate my sons birthday. We all wanted just a laid back, stress free and away from the busyness of life vacation and we were able to have that with the location of your condo.....Thank you!!! We loved walking the beach to the east. It was always so quiet except for the occasional fishermen that we would check how they were doing :) We loved sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee with dolphins surfacing in front of us....a little slice of Heaven! We would love to return again next year if possible :)))) Thank you again for sharing your second home with us. We treated it with respect just like it was our own...we loved it!!

Beach Vacation Aug. 2011

This was our first true VRBO experience. We have booked through VRBO before but always end up dealing with a realty company. This experience could not have gone more smoothly. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. They checked on us our first night there and through the week. The condo was very very nice, well maintained and very homey which is unusual for a beach rental. We actually felt we were guests in someones home. The location was perfect, easy access to everything we needed: grocery, drug store, fresh seafood market, restaurants, the beach etc... Beach access was easy and close. You didn't feel like you had to take a hike if you wanted to run up and make a sandwich for lunch. It was very quiet on this end of the beach and uncrowded. It was very dark at night so you could see the stars from your balcony. We just loved everything about it. We would recommend this to anyone needing a 2 bed/bath condo. The decor was lovely and beachy without being over the top. We hope to stay here again and again. The owners once again were wonderful to deal with.

This condo was perfect in every way! We enjoyed the beautiful, quality furnishings and convenience of being right on the water. The balcony alone, with its spectacular view, table and comfortable chairs, was "worth the price of admission!" I cannot think of enough superlatives to describe this property, and we hope to return again and again! Wayne and Mary were so nice and considerate, and they made everything easy from start to finish. I can (and have!) recommended this condo without hesitation ...it is the ideal place for a dream vacation at the beach!

For ten days we had a great time. Ages ranged form great grandparents to a 3 year old. Nice furnishings, convenient to lots of fun things and great views of the beach and surf. the balcony by far was the most popular gathering place. Hopefully we can do it again. Working with the owners was a pleasure. They were more than willing to our questions and always had an answer to every question. Such a joy.

I can't begin to describe what a wonderful time we had in Perdido Key. Wayne and Mary's condo is so nice and they were wonderful to work with. The furniture in the condo is great, the decor is wonderful; it's like being home away from home except there's a gorgeous sandy white beach outside your door. If you're going to Perdido Key, this is the condo for you!

August at the Beach

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo so very much. Furnishings were first class, the condo was immaculate, and the view of the gulf from the balcony was incredible. White sand, blue-green water and dolphins playing.

We thought this condo was wonderful! It is beautifully decorated and so relaxing. Our nine and three year old sons thought the beach/condo was fantastic! Our nine year old said that this trip was way better than all of our trips to Disney World. It was in such a beautiful setting and our whole vacation was so peaceful. Perdido Key has always been dear to my heart and we hope next year we will get to come back and stay in condo 515. Much thanks to Wayne and Mary for allowing us to stay in their condo!!! (the beach toys and chairs/umbrella that Wayne and Mary allowed us to use came in very handy)

Owner response:This family was very concerned about the oil spill, but decided to go to Sandy Key despite the threat of oil. As you see, they had a great time and there was no oil to spoil their vacation.

Thanksgiving 2009 was so very special at this amazing condo. We were in awe at the "comfortability" and classy condo. The mild temps and holiday in the sun and water only added to our fun. The owners could not have been any easier to book and work with. We plan on staying again for Thanksgiving 2010. The only difference this time...I will cook our dinner. The kitchen has everything I need so why not!?

I reserved this condo for friends who were visiting from Argentina. These are the comments they sent to me after their stay at Sandy Key 515: "The condo on the beach was incredible! We didn't visit New Orleans because we were able to stay on the beach an extra day. The owner called us while we were there to make sure that everything was ok for us. The view from the flat was beautiful. Thank you for finding this condo for us."

This was a great relaxing vacation! We have been going to Perdido Key for many years! We have three daughters now ages 16, 21 & 23 and we first hit the beaches when the oldest was only 2! Sandy Key Resort is wonderful and the Couvillion's condo is superb! Very clean and comfortable. It makes you feel right at home. The weather was great and the surf was fun! One of the best points for me is that the location is not so crowded with people on the beach!!!! Our favorite place to eat is Cosmos in Orange Beach! We'll definitely be back and hopefully to stay again in condo #515

What a great vacation ! we spent the week of July 18-25, 2009 and had a very relaxing time there with two children 8 and 6 yrs old and watching them have a blast on the beach and in the water was wonderful, observing the kids looking and finding the dolphins in the mornings and evenings was priceless. The hunting of crabs at night was an adventure that we will remember along with the Blue Angels practice that the kids stated was the best part for them, we enjoyed each restaurant we visited and especially was thankful for the un-croweded beach and traffic was very light but also close enough to drive to larger areas to shop and sightsee. This was a great family vacation and Sandy Key 515 was better in person than in pictures. Thank you to the -"Couvillions"

Our family really enjoyed our first stay on the beach in several years. This was our first trip ever to Perdido and I must say it was very enjoyable. The condo was beautiful and very convenient. We had some concerns about being on the 5th floor, especially since we had our two small grandchildren, but let me assure you this was not problem at all. The condo was only about 10 steps from the elevator and the view from the balcony was wonderful. We enjoyed getting up early and sitting on the balcony and drinking our coffee while taking in the beautiful view and sounds of the gulf. Wayne and Mary were very easy to work with and were very accommodating. Definitely a vacation to remember which was made all the better with the beautiful accommodations.

Absolutely loved Sandy Key 515. This condo was very well equipped and nicely furnished and a great price as well. The unit conveniently located right by the elevator. Having the owner's storage on the first floor was great. There was no need to haul sand covered items all the way up to the condo. In fact, we just left our beach items on the beach overnight and they were just fine and most of the guests did the same. The property had a very nice, quiet, family atmosphere and we felt very safe with our 9 year old daughter. She also had a wonderful time playing in the ocean and the nice pools and watching for the dolphins eating breakfast on the wonderful balcony eating area. There are nice restaurants, grocery stores, departments stores, drug stores and liquor stores just minutes away. We could also drive into Gulf Shores very easily to visit our favorite restaurants and the outlet mall there. I can't say enough about the hospitality of Wayne and Mary. They were lovely to deal with and answered all of my questions promptly and courtiously. We have been back less than a week and already have our deposit back! Be sure and visit Lillian's if you want to eat great pizza (very close). The Point for good seafood (very close). I understand that The Sunset Grill is very good - the location was lovely (very close), but we didn't eat there - but will next time. We will definitely be back to Sandy Key 515!

It is first class all of the way. From the time we entered, we could tell that we had made the right decision to spend or Spring Break here. The condo is in excellent condition and has a terrific view of the Gulf. We walked the beach at night and in the morning. We could sit out on the balcony and enjoy watching and listening to the waves crashing on the beach. Our 4 1/2 year old girls loved the beach and the heated pool. My Dad and husband watched the Blue Angels and enjoyed that alot. We could also watch the dolphins from the balcony. All and all it was a fantastic vacation. Wayne called to make sure that we found everything and that everything was okay when we arrived.

We came to Perdido Key for a weekend get-away, and we left with wonderful memories to last a lifetime! Sandy Key 515 is the perfect condo. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a true home away from home. We felt like Wayne and Mary were old friends. They treated us like treasured guests right from the beginning of the rental process. Wayne even called during our stay to make sure everything was satisfactory! We cannot wait to come back to our Perdido paradise next year.

Our stay in this cond was perfect. I can honestly say that it is the nicest condo we have stayed in and we have been traveling to Perdidi Key for many years. Not only was it immaculate, but had everything you could possibly need and was beautifully furnished. Wayne even called us upon arrrival to be sure we were satisfied. When we travel in that direction again, we know right where we will stay!!

We vacationed from 09/13/08 to 09/20/08. You couldn't rent from greater people. Wayne and Mary displayed their integrity and personal interest in our vacation from the day we showed interest till the vacation was over. Emails and calls with details to make the trip more enjoyable made planning the trip flawless. I truly felt like I was dealing with a friend or family member. The condominium is immaculate and well taken care of. It is well furnished in each room. The view from the balcony is hard to pull away from. We simply didn't want to go home. This condo was absolutely wonderful. It was the best we've ever stayed in. The beach was steps away and very quiet. I loved that the pool was never crowded. I wish that the restaurants were a little closer because I don't like to cook on vacation, but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. We had a great time the entire week we were there. we stayed at the condo 7/19/08-7/26/08 and i must say that that this is the best condo we have ever stayed in on the gulf big bedrooms big den and big balcony the shortest walk to the ocean you will find not crowded and located in a quiet area away from the traffic and hour long waits for dinner in orange beach lots of great places to eat with in 3 miles we will be back next year hopefully for 2 weeks

Unit 515 at Sandy Key was awesome! We'll definitely be back and tell our friends! We usually stay in Gulf Shores, but the uncrowded Perdido Key was huge plus. We were still close enough to Gulf Shores to hit our usual spots, but leave the crowds behind. The condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The Couvillions were so accommodating. Unit #515 is an excellent location with an uncrowded beach. We look forward to many more vacations at Sandy Key Unit #515. Thanks for a great vacation!

We stayed at this condo over the July 4th week. It was a great vacation. The condo has a lot of space and has many upgrades making it a very nice place to stay. The condo has a great view of the beach which is easily accessible. The beach wasn't crowded and was very relaxing. I would recommend this condo as a great place to stay on the beach.

We had a fabulous time in Perdido Key. The condo was great. It is decorated very nice and has beautiful views of the ocean from the balcony and master bedroom. Another thing that is very nice is it's just an elevator ride away from the beach & pool. Our visit was during the height of vacation season and we did not have to wait in lines for anything. Perdido Key has all the other vacation cities have to offer except the crowds and congestion. The dolphine cruise was fun and moderatley priced and the Gulf of Mexico was, as always, gorgeous and very relaxing. The Couvillion's were very helpful and extremely interested in our complete satisfaction. We are completely satisfied with the area and the condo and we will be back. Thanks, Rob

We had a wonderful time at Sandy Keys. The condo was beautifully decorated, nice and clean. You can come and go as many times as you wish out to the beach because it is so close. There are many great resturants to eat at that are close by or if you wish you can travel into Pensacola or Orange Beach. These two places are just a few miles away. We loved the fact that the beach and pool were not too crowded. It is less conjested that Destin or Panama City. The owners are very nice and want to make sure you have everything you need to get alittle R&R that we all need from time to time. Sitting on the balcony listening to the waves and watching the birds, walking on the beach looking for crabs, swimming in the pool, etc. is all great at Sandy Keys. Mr. and Mrs. Couvillion, thanks for a relaxing vacation. Hope to return very soon. Our little ones keeps asking when we are going back to our condo. Just returned from this beautiful piece of paradise! If you're looking for a beach getaway-look no further! Awesome, relaxing stay. Unit 515 is beautiful, cozy, and clean! From either digging my toes in the sand, rafting on the waves in the gulf, swimming in the refreshing(and not so crowded pool(s)), working out in the gym, sipping coffee on the balcony, or eating at one of the delicious restaurants near by--everything about my stay at Sandy Key was perfect! This is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.It has all the ammenities of home, with the relaxing benefits of beachside living.This home is very nicely decorated, and its owners are genuinely friendly people.You can't possibly get closer to the beach! Before Hurricane Ivan, our family stayed in a condo farther West, towards Orange Beach, but after staying at Sandy Key, we all agree that we like this place better.The beach is terrific, and the unit is conveniently located near Pensacola, somewhat away from the heavy tourism and traffic of Gulf Shores( a very desirable quality).Overall, our stay here was, by far, the best experience we have had on vacation.Many thanks to the family for loaning us their beautiful home.
