Come be our guests in this Wisconsin cottage just north of Lake Geneva on the Lauderdale chain of lakes. This fully furnished home is located on Green Lake, the northern most of the 3 spring-fed lakes that total 950 acres.
The house sits about 50 feet from the water facing west for beautiful summer sunsets which can be enjoyed from the screen porch, the stone BBQ patio, the boathouse roof-top, or the waterfront patio with private pier.
Our four bedroom home with hide-a-bed will accommodate up to ten people. There is a full kitchen, separate dining room, and generous living room with splendid views of the lake. Enjoy cocktails and dinner on the roof of the boat house, relax and read in the hammock, and play with the kids in the swimming area! If you are lucky, perhaps you will be preparing your own fresh-caught fish for dinner, if not, there are plenty of dining and grocery options nearby.
The lakes are great for fishing, with Large and Small Mouth Bass, Bluegill, Northern Pike, and Walleye so bring your boat! Additionally, boats and Jet Skis can be rented from the Lauderdale Lakes Marina. On the adjacent bay there is a free water ski show every Friday night put on by the Lauderdale Aqua Skiers water ski show team.
Close to Kettle Moraine State park for biking and hiking and horseback riding. There are lots of antique shops in Elkhorn, East Troy, and Lake Geneva, and 15 golf courses in the area. There is plenty to do, but you may just choose to stay and play in the lake!

When to opportunity arose to buy this turn of the century (the last one!) cottage, in this idyllic locale, so close to home, we couldn't pass it up!
Our favorite place for farm fresh produce and the best eggs, straight from the chickens!

N310 County Road H, great fish, and if you want a guaranteed catch, it's the proverbial "shooting fish in a barrel"!

Our family loves vacationing at the lake! It's just an hour and a half away, but it feels like a thousand miles, and years back in time to a quieter bygone era. When we pull in to the driveway, the first thing the kids want to do is get into their suits, and run off the end of the dock into the water! They often pause though to swing on the rope-swing strung 40' up in an oak tree. After a day of playing in the lake, and dinner outside watching the sunset, we often head back into the woods for a bonfire, marshmallows & s'mores at our fire pit.
