Lovely oceanfront condominium just 75 yards from the water. The entire studio was renovated in 2008 with new floor tile, a refurbished bathroom with a walk-in glass block shower and all new fixtures, brand new upholstery and lighting and fresh paint. The unit contains a whisper-quiet, remote controlled split air-conditioner plus a ceiling fan in the central living area. Cable TV, a CD/Stereo system with a USB port and connection for an iPod
cable.
The Sand Dollar Resort Complex has its own restaurant/bar on the premises and is adjacent to the oceanfront Sunset Bar and Grill at Den Laman. There is a large pool, lighted tennis courts and a large sundeck and beach area. Bonaire Dive and Adventure center, located on the resort premises, offers boat dives and unlimited shore diving, along with equipment rentals and instruction. There is a grocery/convenience store, a bank, and an internet cafe adjacent to the property. The resort is within walking distance of several top restaurants, including Lion's Den, Rum Runners, Pasa Bon Pizza and Patagonia.

We have stayed at Sand Dollar several times. This was the first time in a studio unit. The unit was surprisingly large and well furnished. The murphy bed was very comfortable. The owner's have redone the bathroom to allow for a very large walk in shower. Bonaire has great restaurants but we enjoy the ability to cook some meals ourselves. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch on the lovely patio overlooking the water and a view of Klein Bonaire and gorgeous sunsets. The staff at Sand Dollar is great. They respond quickly to your needs. One day we forgot to close the safe, no problem! The resort has security onsite making the resort safe for its guests. We were fortunate to be there while many owners were visiting. The owners take a very personal interest in the resort. They were actually working on a large landscaping project while we were there. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our neighbor shared cut flowers with us. We dove with Bonaire Dive and Adventure which is conveniently located next to the resort. They offer a well run dive operation perfect for shore diving. This is a nice unit with a very good location at Sand Dollar.

Awesome place. Very clean and tidy, helpful staff, and a very convenient location. The kitchen is well equipped for breakfasts and lunches at home. The condo is very comfortable and a great place to stage all of your diving activities. The folks at Bonaire Dive and Adventure - the dive shop adjacent to the Sand Dollar - were great. This place is dialed for divers! We got our gear minutes after arriving, and we were diving a couple of hours after our plane landed. Highly recommended. People who aren't divers may be disappointed with the lack of beaches and other activities, but if you are a diver, Bonaire is the place to go, and this condo is a great place to stay. The owner was extremely helpful during our booking and preparation, answered questions clearly and quickly and that really made this easy and fun. We will really miss the amazing food at Cactus Blue; we at there 3 times for dinner! Overall, a great condo and a great diving destination. I would highly recommend this place, and would absolutely stay in this condo again if we go back.

We just returned from a two week dive vacation staying in F7 at the Sand Dollar. We had a studio, the ocean/sunset view awesome, bed very comfortable, kitchen great for quick breakfasts, lunches and the occasional left-over dinner. The room was well cleaned daily with plenty of fresh towels. Our unit was very well stocked with dishes, paperback novels and lounge chairs/table on the patio. There is a good market just to the north and Eli's just across the road. It was easy to access both north and south shore dives. Bonaire Dive and Adventure was a good operator and it was a short walk to our gear and the 9 o'clock boat. Be sure to do a night dive on Bari Reef. There are a surprising number of very good resturants on the Island - Bistro de Paris, Appetite, La Guernica, Sense, La Barca, Wil's Tropical Grill & others. We booked through VRBO, the property staff was all set for us at check-in and and the owner was lovely to work with. We would happily return for a replay. In keeping with the Bonaire vibe, this is a comfortable place for the independent diver. In September, it was quiet and sleepy, just fine for us!

My first time staying at Sand Dollar and I could not have been happier. The condo was great, spacious and fully stocked with appliances, dishes, and not to mention, a great view. The pictures on the web site do not do it justice. (much, much better in person) Sharon was a pleasure to deal with while booking and gave lots of information and suggestions on things to do. I would not hesitate to book with her again. The dive site located at Sand Dollar (Bari Reef) was one of our favorites. There was lots of beautiful Coral and frequent Sea Turtle sightings. Another favorite of ours was Webbers Joy, located near the infamous 1000 Steps dive site. We visited the Donkey Sanctuary, Lac Bay and saw the Flamingo Sanctuary. What a beautiful island with lots to see and do. Our favorite restaurants in Bonaire are Donna & Giorgios, City Cafe, Pasa Bon and of course Lions Den (try the Island Spice Cheese cake with fresh Mango Sorbet (YUMMY). Sharon, I hope your condo is available for our vacation next year. THANKS AGAIN.!!! :))

Sharon's condo is the perfect place for us. My husband and I have stayed in this unit twice (2007 and 2009). The first time we stayed, there was an issue with the a/c that was addressed immediately. The second time we stayed, we had no problems at all. The unit has been remodeled since our first visit and is perfect as it is quiet, comfortable, close to the water, and well maintained. The housekeeping staff is so nice and brought us whatever we asked for. The murphy bed is amazingly comfortable and stores away during the day. The location on Bari Reef is fantastic for divers and snorkelers.
