We enjoyed our stay in this charming log house. The views of the flowing river are very restful, the house is well constructed and comfortable, and it’s only a 15 minute drive to the park entrance and a multitude of glorious hikes!

My husband and two children stayed here this past June and it was as lovely. The home was well-represented by the pictures and the homeowner took great care to make sure we had everything we needed, including updated weather/road conditions. Very cozy.
Owner response:We are pleased you enjoyed your visit

We had such an amazing time! The chalet is in the perfect location. The house is well stocked, comfortable, and quiet. The view of the river is fabulous. Just from the house, we saw deer, a beaver, hummingbirds, and a black bear. Steve, the owner, was wonderful to work with and always willing to answer questions. Glacier National Park is gorgeous. We hiked Avalanche Lake, Grinnell Lake, Iceberg Lake, Hidden Lake Overlook, and 1/2 of the Highline Trail. We saw a moose, 2 grizzlies, mountain goats, marmots, ground squirrels, and big horn sheep. Our favorite hike was Iceberg Lake, it's truly incredible. We did a half day raft trip which fun. My children think it is the best vacation we have ever taken. We would love to come back again!
Owner response:Gina, Thanks for the review! We are very glad that you enjoyed your stay at the Glacier Chalet and your visit to Glacier National Park. You and your family are welcome to return anytime. We always enjoy hearing from our guests. Regards, Steve

We were thrilled to stay at the Glacier Chalet. It is very close to the West entrance of Glacier National Park, and close to places to shop and eat in Whitefish or Kalispell. The best thing about the Chalet is the wonderful view of the river. I think we could have just stayed at the Chalet and watched the river all day! The house is very comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. The area is very secluded and quiet, and a great place to enjoy nature and relax. We would love to return someday. Thank you, Steve!

I cannot begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our visit in your lovely mountain home! It is more lovely than we could have imagined, and the internet does not do it justice. Our visit to Montana was more enjoyable than last time, and we did a lot more than three years ago. We contribute most of that to where we stayed! We rented a raft and floated down the Flathead, road horses at Many Glacier, hiked to Avalanche Falls and Hidden Lakes, went to Polebridge (one of our favorite places) twice, saw bears, a moose, eagles, ground squirrels, chipmunks, many many hummingbirds, beavers. I could go on and on!! Mott
