Beautiful Westport Island encompasses all the peace and serenity of a Maine coastal island, but with an easy access bridge to all the amenities the Midcoast Maine region has to offer. Located just south of Wiscasset, Westport Island is a storybook getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We want to share our home with you.
Nana’s Way is located on the shores of a tidal river or the Back River, which affords not only gorgeous water views but also a peek at our abundant wildlife including Bald Eagles, Osprey, Blue Heron, gulls and adorable harbor seals. A dock and float with three-person canoe is available for your use or you may choose to bring or rent kayaks. Three adult-size life vests are provided.
Nana’s Way has a deck with lounge chairs, a screened porch with table and chairs with seating for 8, master bedroom with queen bed and adjoining double-sink master bath with tub and shower, a second bedroom with trundle bed and a ¾-bath with shower. The great room encompasses a fully applianced kitchen with counter seating for three, dining area with seating for six with sliders to deck and water view and living area with cathedral ceiling.
There is a 35 inch TV with access to local channels and a DVD player. A nice selection of jigsaw puzzles is available, which work nicely with the oversized coffee table. The loft area contains a pool table, a day bed that can either be converted to 2 twin beds or 1 king-size bed and another small TV with VCR. All linens are included. There is also an attached two-car garage.
Our home is located on a gravel road with a mix of full-time and seasonal residences. Our property managers, Judy and Alan, live right next door and will be available should you have any questions or if any problem arises. You will not regret your choice to spend a relaxing vacation on Westport Island and we look forward to hearing from you. |
