Welcome to our three bedroom (plus) cabin in Minong , Wisconsin, on 772 acre Lake Nancy. The cabin is close to the water, up a little hill from the lake. Our 600 foot private wooded road winds through oak and pine trees and ends just a short distance from the back door with room to park several cars.
Lake Nancy is a large clear lake offering northerns, bass, wallie, pan fish - even muskie. A four seat aluminum boat is provided for fishing or exploring, and the lake has a public ramp for launching your trailered boat. A favorite fishing spot is directly in front of our cabin. The lake slope is gradual with no drop offs. Enjoy your morning coffee out on the pier bench while listening to unique loon songs or watching bald eagles. The fire pit is available at dusk when you are ready for hot dogs, marshmallows, or tall tales. Very often the night sky is so black you can see the milky way.
The sun porch is on the upper level and provides quite a view with spectacular sun sets. We are 2 miles from Black Bear Golf course, an 18 hole, par 72, public course. You may also enjoy hiking or canoeing/tubing
on 2 nearby rivers. Day trips to Haward, Spooner, or Superior are common diversions.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms with one queen bed and 2 double beds, and a sun porch with a futon.The large central kitchen is next to carpeted TV room which has a sofa that converts to a full bed. There is also a basement for storing some of your equipment, and playing foosball. Electricity and gas are provided, as well as refrigerator/freezer, microwave, gas stove, satellite TV, DVD player, coffee maker, and fans.
Return the cabin clean, with things as you found them. Then scout outside to clean up after pets. Put equipment away for refund of deposit. Please report unsafe situations or problems encountered so that we can try to remedy them for our next guest and your next visit.

Why the Owner Chose Minong
When the original resort was being divided up and sold my folks were fortunate to have first choice of the properties. I think the lot they selected has got to be one of the best on the whole lake. We are located at the center of the bay and look West across the whole lake. We have just enough elevation to have excellent views without strenuous climbing to access to the beachfront. The breeze usually blows the warm surface water right into the bay for excellent afternoon swimming.

Perfect location, Cottage, and lake. Cottage was comfortable for our larger group (7) with a great shower for washing off the suntan lotion and bug spray. New appliances made cooking or freezing the day's catch easy. Well equipped facility, everything we needed was either in the cabin or shed. Could have packed a lot less! Lake was great, caught tons of 2-4# largemouth, crappie and sunfish. Got a couple of 1-2# northern as well. Sand bar locations were perfect for kids swimming and adult relaxing. Pontoon boat rental from a local was cheap and delivered right to the dock. Even with a thunderstorm knocking out the power for 2 days, it couldn't have been a better trip location. Rent with absolute confidence!
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Had the BEST time ever at this beachfront rental. Clear water, great fishing, great scenery, boating, amenities all first rate. The owner was very helpful and I recommend it at every opportunity!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
