Photo 1 - Tower, MN Vacation Cabin Rental Our summer home is on one of Minnesota's and largest and most beautiful lakes with countless islands, bays, and inlets, and hundreds of miles of shoreline. The location is the perfect combination of amenities in the middle of a vast forest wilderness. National Geographic has rated Vermilion as one of the top ten most scenic lakes in the United States. The architect-designed cabin faces northwest, so you can watch the sunset every day through floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room. And you can see the stars at night from the queen bed in the master bedroom. Relax and enjoy the outdoors--lake, trees, birds, loons, maybe an eagle, and sun--from dock or deck. And get out on the water for even more spectacular lake views and some fishing! It's ideal for a family vacation, a family reunion, or time with friends. The cabin has comfortable new furniture--sofa, loveseat, 2 recliners--and new bedding, with seating for 6 at dining tables in the kitchen and three-season screened porch. Three bedrooms--one with a queen bed, two with twin beds. Bath has a shower (no tub). All rooms are on one floor. A canoe with paddles is available for your use as well as a 16 ft fishing boat. If you want to bring a boat, discuss options with owner; a public landing and marina are nearby. Boat rental and boat tours are also available on the lake. Please bring your own beach towels as needed. Life jackets are provided. Cell phone reception is weak or impossible, so please bring a phone card. Dine at nearby restaurants or casino/resort, or take a scenic drive to Ely for dining, art galleries, shopping, outfitters, hiking in Superior National Forest, summer theater, International Wolf Center, new North American Bear Center, movies, etc.

late May, Jun-Labor Day .. $1000/week + $300 damage deposit plus 6.5% sales tax
$300 due at reservation. Full payment by check or cash 30 days before rental.
No refund unless written cancellation at least 30 days before reserved date.
Sunday to Sunday, or Saturday to Saturday. Or ask about weekdays.
Check in/out at noon unless other arrangements made. No motor homes.
No guns. No off-road vehicles or hunting allowed on property or adjacent
wilderness areas. After Labor Day through October, $600/week.
