The unit is a cozy studio with a downstairs kitchen and clothes washer (no dryer...you use racks for drying), and a loft for sleeping and bathroom. It is ideally located smack in the center of old town Aix, easy walking distance to any place you might want to get to: open air markets, restaurants and bistros, shops, museums, you name it. Carolina is delightful and responsive as a landlord, and easy to communicate with, especially by WhatsApp. If you have a car rental you can park at Parking Pasteur a five minute walk away. Two things to know: (1) if you are stair phobic, note that the steps to the loft are steep, as are the front door landing steps. And (2) if you are taller than me (5' 10") you will likely bump your head on bump outs in the kitchen and the low ceiling in the loft and bathroom until you figure it out. But we loved the place for our two week stay and will try to stay there again when...not if...we return to Aix. The kitchen is tiny but well-stocked, and we cooked several meals in. Finally, the unit has a TV with a wide range of international programming including CNN, CNBC and BBC, and you can sign in to your Netflix account! Great unit for two people max.
