This comfortable modern home sits on 90 acres of high desert terrain overlooking the Carson Valley of Nevada boasting a breathtaking view of the Sierra Mountain Range. A perfect getaway to the quiet peaceful settings of natural Nevada. With its tile floors, cozy fireplace, and deluxe game/recreation room, it is the ideal center for all of your outdoor adventures including Weddings!

After a memorable day of site seeing or exploring and hiking the miles and miles of our scenic trail system, relax with your favorite drink on a soft sofa or sauna and listen to some of your favorite music while taking in the beautiful view of the Carson Valley and the majestic Sierra Mountains. The sunsets are incredible!

You can truly spoil yourself here! And lets not forget our sparkling gem the Carson River just .8 of a mile out the back door. Jeep, run, walk right out the back yard through US forest land undisturbed to the shore of the Carson River. Swim, kayak, canoe, fish, or even do an overnight camp you can have it all!

Nearby scenic attractions include Lake Tahoe where you can hit the beach, swim, or just cruise around and sight see on the beautiful blue water of World Famous Lake Tahoe. Or, mountain bike or hike the famous Tahoe Rim Trail or anyone of the many beautiful hiking trails. And of course canoe, raft, or kayak the beautiful Carson River.

We have professional guides that can take you on anyone of these excursions. And we host one of the most beautiful views of the Carson Valley you will ever see. A perfect site for weddings, small conventions, and family reunions. With all the activities and the awsome scenery these occasions will become unforgettable memories here at the Haines Adventure Ranch!

Skiing is 20 miles away from December through June at Kirkwood Ski Resort, or visit Heavenly Valley in Lake Tahoe or head to Reno and tackle Mt. Rose. All beautiful ski resorts with world class powder skiing and if your inclined World Class X-C skiing trails with over 50 kilometres of groomed skating and traditional classic trails intertwining the beautiful Sierra Mountains.

If Golf is your cup of tea you can practice your game on our driving range and putting green. Then head down to our local Carson Valley Golf Course just 20 minutes away or the famous Lake Tahoe Golf Course plus many more throughout the Carson Valley. You can kayak the Carson River in the warmer months, hike the traditional, rustic, pioneer trails of the Sierra's. And mountain bike, run, walk, or hike the local trails right out the backyard.

Excellent restaurants abound in Reno and Lake Tahoe not to mention our town of Gardnerville boasting a few of it's own. And of course night life from dancing to world class shows in Reno and Lake Tahoe. Grocery stores, gas stations, ATM, and any other necessities can be found 6 miles from the house.
