  Very charming, very clean house. It was the perfect location for us, we had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed. We will be back!!

  Redwoods... A lamp lit tiered garden, with a private deck, a little pond and ample parking. It is private, quiet, and built around its inhabitants. Our hosts had left us a bottle of wine etc. There is an open hearth fire... The town, north of Ventana national park is without question one of the more beautiful we've ever seen. The town has un-numbered houses and a bit difficult to find, but the difficulty only adds to the sense of privacy and quiet. We would certainly return there. (Posted from AirBnB #420477)

  A cozy beach cottage in the woods, and a treehouse for a bedroom! What a great find! Loved the footbridge through the woods into town. The bathroom was huge, parking spaces incredible for Carmel, great decks, clean and colorful inside.......... Very comfortable and in the perfect location.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  This house is beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for two. It also is very convenient -- just a short and pleasant walk into town or to the beach.

  We just stayed two weeks in this house from July 14 to 28, 2012. It is exactly as advertised on this site, and the pictures accurately reflect how nice it is. The house contains everything necessary for a great stay. It was very clean when we arrived, and came with the first essentials that we really appreciated after a long drive from SFO. It was truly a pleasure to deal with the house's owner, from the moment I contacted her a few months ago, until we left, including when we had a nasty plumbing issue that was solved in less than an hour thanks to Maria's contacts in town. I would recommend this house to anyone willing to spend quiet and relaxing time in Carmel, and I already know for sure that we will be back.

  Our stay at the Carmel Treehouse house was awesome. Our visit to Carmel by the sea was the best due to this house. It's on a quite street and it's location to the ocean made walks to the beach fabulous you can walk to just about everywhere in Carmel from this house. Once your at the house it invites you with the soothing sounds from the waterfall to the inviting fire place in the front room. The kitchen has all you need to make breakfast in the morning to dinner at night. The Patio off the bedroom makes for a lovely place to have morning coffee and chat about your days activites. The patio off the front room is great for afternoon wine and cheese and just relaxing after your day on the beach or enjoying the many activites surrounding Carmel. Mariya is the best at helping you with your stay here from paperwork to arranging flowers for your arrival. I would recomend the Treehouse to anybody coming to the Carmel valley area in a heart beat.

  I thought so many things to say while at this little slice of heaven.......I am considered "picky" by those that know me well, and typically it is only after much research that I will reserve a hotel. Our stay at this house was like a dream for me. Fresh cut flowers in....EVERY room, now that I think about it. A bottle of wine...great books, fabulous artwork and that's just the inside. The outside is so beautifully landscaped, lots of beautiful flowers. One of my favorite things to do is go out to eat, my husband couldn't believe I wanted to stay in and cook the first night ;) i just didn't want to leave. The bathroom felt like a spa, just a dream come true. I had spent a few hours in Carmel by the Sea a few months ago and I knew then I would be back, I wanted my husband to see all the beauty there is here (and the shops are fantastic), the beach here is one of the most beautiful that I have ever seen. I certainly plan to come back and I hope that I get to stay here again, when it's right it's right!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  We loved our stay at the Carmel Tree House. It has a very peaceful atmosphere and is a great place to return back to after a fun and busy day in and around Carmel. The location is great as well. We were able to walk to the Village and the Beach and didn't have to hassle with finding a parking space. We hope to be fortunate enough to vacation in Carmel again and our first choice in booking a rental property would be the Carmel Tree House.

  We arrived mid afternoon to be pleasantly surprised by this house full of charm inside and out. There were really no amenties that were forgotten. This charming one bedroom, 3 story home is nestled in the trees not far from the downtown area. Big paned windows, hardwood floors, fireplace and an outstanding bathroom. We were there for 5 days and enjoyed our house to the fullest. I cant imagine there is another as charming.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  My wife and I, and our 2 children (ages 9 and 6) planned for a "road trip" to include a visit to the Monterey Aquarium, and sights around Carmel. Fortunately, in lieu of staying in a hotel in Monterey, we found the "Carmel TreeHouse" on VRBO and stayed there for 3 days. The home is a short walk from downtown Carmel and the ocean. This home is charming: a top floor (which has a quaint master bedroom), a bathroom on the landing on the middle floor, and a large living/sleeping area on the bottom floor, which was ideal for our 2 kids. This place is clean, sunny, and spacious. There is also a secluded back yard area, which ample seating for lounging in privacy. The TreeHouse is ideally located for day excursions to the Montery Aquarium, Pebble Beach, and Pt. Lobos (hiking), and the Carmel beachfront. The owner (MS) was extremely helpful and accomadating. The listing as described was accurate, although pictures and words cannot accurately describe the charm of this place! We would most highly recommend this place to anyone who has plans to stay in Carmel (or visit Monterey). Thanks to the owner of this place for providing us with such a great place to stay.
