A very unique property in a quiet area north of Ocean Ave.
Centrally located, a 10 minute stroll can take you to either the white sand beach at the foot of Ocean Ave., the charming village of Carmel-by-the-Sea or the Carmel gate for access to Pebble Beach & 17 Mile Dr.

Access to the house is from both the upper and lower streets, so there is ample parking. The property sits perched above beautiful Pescadero Canyon which is filled with enormous redwood and pine trees that greet you upon entering the upper floor bedroom.
At night you can see the moon and stars twinkle through the trees while you lay in bed ~ magical!

Each room is on a different floor, with the kitchen and living room with fireplace on the lower level, bathroom in between and the bedroom on the top floor. The kitchen, and bathroom with its 6 foot cast iron tub for two, were recently remodeled, and are nicely appointed with high end appliances and fixtures.

Cozy, romantic and serene is the best way to describe it!

  • This is a wonderful, cozy house within walking distance of the beach, Carmel village, and Pebble Beach Golf course. Perfect for a couple or single person who likes to relax. It is very quiet and serene, and there are many things to do and see if you wish to get out a bit. A large factor in our perfect week in Carmel.

  • We had a wonderful time here. The space is cozy and perfect for a couple. Charlotte loved the HUGE bathtub for soaking away the world. You are in the middle of the best part of Carmel and yet feel a milliion miles away.

  • This is a delightful house in a perfect location. Both the town and the beach are within easy walking distance. The design of the house on three different levels gives you a variety of views and perspectives. There are two lovely decks, and the house has lots of natural light. It was a real pleasure to wake up each morning and see the beautiful view from the picture window in the master bedroom. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bathroom is luxurious. An excellent alternative to a hotel and the owner is a pleasure to deal with.

  • My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a perfect location and size for the week. The home has been tastefully remodeled and the bedroom has great views of the ocean, trees and 17 Mile Drive leading to Pebble Beach. Mariya, the owner, was a delight and very helpful with suggestions for area restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this option over a hotel room for a couple who plans to be in Carmel for a week.
