Access to the house is from both the upper and lower streets, so there is ample parking as well as covered parking. The property sits perched above beautiful Pescadero Canyon which is filled with enormous redwood and pine trees that greet you upon entering the upper floor bedroom.
At night you can see the moon and stars twinkle through the trees while you lay in bed ~ magical!
Each room is on a different floor, with the kitchen and living room with fireplace on the lower level, bathroom in between and the bedroom on the top floor. The kitchen, and bathroom with its 6 foot cast iron tub for two are nicely appointed with high end appliances and fixtures. High speed wi-fi throughout.

The special thing about the Carmel Waterfall Treehouse is its proximity to the village, beach and 17 Mile Dr., yet still being far from crowds during high season. Being on a 'not a through street' (even though, wink wink, that is not truly the case..) stops traffic from coming through & creates a very peaceful setting.
Carmel Beach with its beautiful white sand is a beautiful stroll down a quiet path and neighborhood & only 4 blocks away...

My husband had a perfect Thanksgiving in the charming and cozy Carmel house. The views, quiet and warm decor made for an enjoyable time.

My husband and I spent two fabulous weeks here in August. The house looked just as it appears on the website - charming and very cozy. Everything was spotless and we were delighted to find roses, coffee, juice, wine and chocolates to welcome us! The owner couldn't have been nicer - just a pleasure to deal with. The location is excellent - an easy walk to town or the beach. We can't wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in your lovely home. It was everything we could've asked for, and more. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bathroom was well appointed. If it was cooler we would've used the fireplace...too bad. I also enjoyed sitting in the courtyard upstairs. If I come back to carmel i will ask for this place first!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Waterfall Treehouse. The location is superb. A short walk to everything that is Carmel… Ocean Ave, the beach, 17 mile… everything on the doorstep in a beautiful cozy atmosphere. We also loved the extra touches that made it all so special, including our host's unique artwork. The random play selection of music provided was perfect, and added to the exquisite ambience created, especially with the discreet system allowing music throughout the house. We are looking forward to our next visit as three days was just not enough!

Charming, Unique Home located within walking distance of the central Carmel shopping area. Great alternative for those looking for a private retreat. All the expected necessities were available. Mariya was responsive and helpful before and during the stay. Highly recommended.

My husband and I spent five relaxing days here in April! The Owner's recommendations for restaurants were great, and attention was paid to every detail so we didn't have to! Very artistic decor, spa-like bath, peaceful garden, great location--close to shops and 17 Mile Drive. Even when it rained we enjoyed ourselves sitting by the fire, sipping wine and enjoying the surroundings. Look forward to going back! Thanks for the rejuvenating getaway!

We spent a delightful week in August celebrating our anniversary. Owner was great to work with. House has many special touches reflecting owner's artistic talents. Good CD and book collection. All appliances first class. Bath is luxurious. Good location. 3 stories would be a challenge if you had difficulty with stairs.
